Reserved a unit online and paid. It stated a person would contact me with unit number and instructions. After a day, I called and they had to do something on their end for the reservation to go through. Then I received an email providing my unit number but no further instructions. Called back and was given an access code to the gate. When I tried the access code it didn't work and neither did the temporary code she gave me. I drove to the office at 1061 E Michigan Battle Creek and spoke with the person there. She was very helpful and fixed the code problem. When I returned to the units the unit number I was given (via email) was ACB## - the buildings are either A, B, C or D... Called again to figure out which building and the person was unfriendly and not helpful. She was able to connect me to the person I had just saw at the office who again was very nice and helpful. The unit was clean. They need to redo the numbers on the units, many are unreadable or missing.

Do NOT rent here. Horrible service. You can never reach the manager. My unit door was stuck, no one around. I get the “Corp office “ because it transfers when they don’t answer. I was told no one could help me. I said, what am I supposed to do? The door is stuck open, I have to go to work and am I supposed to sleep here to protect my stuff”. They told me they didn’t know. A manager or district manager was supposed to call me. They still haven’t. It’s been a month! Now because I’m a few days (yes only days) late they put a lock on it. They should be open till 530. Nope. Having no luck since 330. So I won’t be able to access my stuff all weekend when I’m moving. So they cost me work before, work time again! They do NOT care!!

Had some issues and Alicia got everything straightened out and made me feel confident that I made the right choice. 1316 E Michigan needs to improve their unit identification hard to find.

Ridiculously expensive!!! (153% HIGHER than a facility I recently found closer to my new residence. Same size unit with an equal level of security). Invest in your own cutting tool! If for any reason you need your lock cut they charge a $40 fee. It’s less than 1.2 mi from the office to the facility.
The office mgr Alicia is fantastic. She’s as patient, flexible and accommodating as you could hope for. She truly puts customer service first. I’ve been in customer service for nearly 30 years and I would offer her a job if I was in a position to do so. She brings consistency and dedication!
