I was ready to shop until I pulled in and saw multiple signs stating “no dogs allowed”. Other nurseries in the area have no issue with good dogs, why do you?

I have been shopping at this location for 9 years and 6 with my service dog. We spend average $300-$600 yearly. Well today, I was walking in at the back entrance and was stopped by an employee and she said, I see that’s a service dog but he’s not allowed in here. I said I shop here every year with him. She then said , it’s cause the chemicals we use here. So I left angry and then I called and spoke to one of the owners. She said service dogs are allowed, maybe she meant it was too crowded. No that wasn’t it. She flat out refused us.

I love going here in the spring and summer. They have such an amazing selection of plants and flowers. You should definitely check them out to brighten up your yard.

This was my first time visiting and I remarked to my companion how I enjoyed Begick better than Bronner's ... until the very end. The store is beautifully decorated. There are rooms and rooms of delightfully decorated trees and holiday decorations. We wandered for over an hour mesmerized and amazed at the amount of work that must have gone into making such an unforgettable winter wonderland. Sadly, it came to a halt when we checked out and were assisted by a young lady with an attitude. She seemed to take it as a personal affront when I mentioned she rang up some bulbs for more than they were advertised for. The store manager didn't seem too concerned about the customer service provided by his employee as he basically dismissed me by refunding my full amount. Thankfully there were some other lovely ladies at the other registers who understood and then assisted me and salvaged the visit. If ever in the area again, I will definitely go back but be more particular in which register I choose. Put this on your list if you are near Bay City.
