Made appointment over a week in advance. Arrived 30 minutes early after driving 50 miles to get there. Was told oil and filter change and tire rotation would take about an hour. 2 And a half hours later they had not even started on it. Nobody bothered to inform me of a delay. Took my keys and left. Check in was a joke. Stood around wasting time while one person at counter shuffled papers. They gave me a card for a free oil change. Whoopee. 100 mile round trip at $3.49 a gallon. How long would I have to wait for a free oil change. Worst Cadillac service I ever saw. So much for their flashy discount coupons. My time was worth more than the non service they performed.

Bought a 2019 GMC sierra with 15,000 miles on it for roughly $47,000 OTD at about 28,500 miles the brakes and rotors are completely shot metal to metal. The part that gets me is the day I bought it the brake monitoring system said 100 percent(I don’t even haul with the truck)Did they just reset it before selling?Did they change the brakes pads and left bad rotors?Who knows because the phone only works one way at this place calls come in and don’t go back out.I guess lesson learned next new truck will be bought locally.

( read all ) Very nice people , I was very impressed with absolutely everything. Definitely an A-List Dealer .( what I would’ve said if it was truly a blessing ) We bought this vehicle less than 2 months ago . A month into owning it everything seemed fine they made the car look very clean new tires new brakes and we also mentioned how this would be a family vehicle , imagine my shock when one day my transmission starts to slip , next thing I know , my 4x4 transfer case had a pinhole in it , and it seemed as if it were covered with jb weld or some type of shady coverup , next to my surprise the transmission needs to be replaced , now after that happened I started to leak gasoline .. GASOLINE , the fuel lines broke , the mechanic noted that it appeared as if the vehicle was taken care of just enough to sell it , the break lines were recently replaced but they didn’t seem to care to fix a possible issue for a family of 5? My whole family is there and looking back I feel so betrayed for trusting this dealer . Honestly I would not have purchased this vehicle if the dealer did not make me believe it was a steal , he in fact did fool me and my family and all I can do now is make this review . I wish I would’ve known better , and to my surprise I got in contact to the previous owner of the vehicle and he told me all the issues that it truly had unlike what the dealership provided , they gave us a car fax but a mechanic or a specialist did not help us . I truly believe that we were taken advantage of , and as a dealer , bad business should never be a option ( please also note they are crooks , the previous owner did tell us how much they got for the vehicle for trading it into this dealer , the dealership told us how much they put into it wish is completely false , they made a profit off of us for 0 work .

From the first attendant who greeted me in the garage, to the gentleman at the counter, and finally the clerk in the parts department, they all treated me like I important and not just a somebody interrupting their routine. I felt very good about being there and want to thank them for their attention to detail

This is a HORRIBLE dealership -- if I could give them a ZERO STARs, I most definitely would! Just had the worst car shopping experience in their used car department. I was interested in a used car, but the side wall on the front left tire had a huge gash in it that was not through to the cords, but you could feel them. There was a noticeable dent in the front fender on the right side, and there were several other cosmetic issues. According to the best evaluation by Kelley Blue Book in great shape it was worth a max of $17,899. Labadie wanted $3,000 more and that was not addressing the tire or other concerns. I found the same car at several dealerships for $17,899 or less with similar miles and good tires (not just polished tires) and fewer cosmetic issues. They were a little more of a drive, but certainly do able. I thought I would give business to a local dealer, I could write the check right then, but they not only refused to fix anything or negotiate a little lower, they actually raised the price with trumped up costs for receiving, and their paperwork, etc lol! When I said I can go get the same car with less miles cheaper a couple towns over -- and I had the website available -- the unprofessional immature snot who called himself a "salesman" -- said " well, go buy it there then!" So guess what, I'm going to today to buy it! And your snotty salesman and arrogant "used car manager" should be given some customer service training, because they are the worst! Wake up guys, you are not the only dealership in town; there are many others worth the drive out of town. Don't shop here for a used vehicle. Do your research it's not that far to the next town or two down the road and it will save you money. Bonus, the other dealer doesn't have a hissy fit when you want to negotiate either, lol!

Joe Rau and the team at Labadie GMC made the process of buying a new ‘23 Sierra Elevation about as painless as I have ever experienced. We had a Blazer lease (that we bought from Joe at another dealer) and we ran the miles up pretty high in the first 15 months. Joe helped me come up with a fair deal to get out of the lease and buy the truck that I wanted with a payment that was within my budget. Everyone at Labadie made the buying experience a positive one…Thank You!

My first time buying a car from an actual dealership and it was the best experience I could have asked for. Jesse had the car we wanted to test drive ready to go by the time we arrived, was straight-forward about pricing our trade-in and purchasing the car. Elvis explained all the financials in the easiest-to-understand way, as well as went in depth on the extent of the warranty. I would highly recommend anyone to come here, I am beyond satisfied with my car.

I bought a Certified Cadillac XT4 from this dealer, and being Certified I thought it was fully inspected ,,,,wrong ! The first rain and the back seat was soaking wet, inspected it further and found mold under the back seat and carpet. Took it in and they had it for close to a month and said they put In a new seat and all new carpet, I have doubts about that because of the smell that it has now. Now they Check engine light keeps going on and off, the sunroof works about 1 out of 10 times you try to use it. when setting the cruise sometimes it will jump up 10 miles per hour over the set speed ! From time to time it won't start. I made them aware of the new problems and ask for them to buy it back and they said the would give me trade In price as of now , so that means they are going to do nothing. I have been waiting for a call with an appraisal and as of now no call, not surprised ! Unbelievably POOR way to do business.

I can't imagine going back to any of the other places I've used in the past.

By far the worst repair experience we have encountered! My kid was in a 10 mph front end collision, was told 3 -4 weeks and being that we live in the central UP its a 3.5 hour 1 way drive to get there. Upon delivering the vehicle I was told there were a few recalls and that they would take it to the Dodge dealer to get remedied, was told it would be taken care of. Took 5 weeks but they never took the car for the recalls. When I picked up the vehicle the hood was visibly misaligned, they took it in the shop and did what they could but it was 4 pm on a Friday and im not a body tech so I figured they had it handled. Boy was I wrong, this car whistles louder than the deer whistles, haven't heard from anyone at Labadies in over a week and a half, so we have disputed the repair bill with our insurance as it appears a bunch of children worked on this vehicle. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!$7,000.00 repair bill! Things that I was told were going to happen and they never even attempted to do them,Replace both headlight bezels so they would matchReplace the headlights with the factory HIDDeliver car to Dodge for recallsCall me backDeliver quality serviceKeep their word about anything!!Updated: 7/12/17Apparently this dealership responds to customers on Google only! Which is unfortunate because this could have all been handled via a little customer service skills ie; returning many many calls, I Called once a day since posting the original review to no avail until today someone named "Chris" called me this morning and informed that the remedy to the situation at hand was for me to call my insurance and approve factory Dodge parts......hmmmm......the parts installed on my wife's vehicle were CAPA parts Certified Automotive Parts Association, told me verbatim the parts used "were reversed engineered", and that what I was stating was "not how they operate" I asked him if he had seen the pictures of the vehicle and he said no, I have soo many questions/responses to that statement..#1 why does it take your customer blasting you on google after calling for weeks to get a response?#2 I have proof of what I claim via screenshots of texts with your body shop,#3 IF, the parts are not "exact fit" how did they make it through fitup and paint without being noticed? If they were noticed, why were they installed? If they weren't noticed which they obviously werent till the day I showed up to pick it up after being told it was compmete, how is that your paying customers fault?#4 I have screenshots of where your body shop admits to not being able to take the car to Dodge for recall work, admitting I wasn't lying again#5 If it is the parts not being exact fit why do you offer them to your customers knowing there's a good chance something is going to be wrong?#6 Is there something I signed waiving rights to a proper vehicle after your shop repaired it due to using CAPA parts?#7 "Chris" admitted he had not seen the pictures yet the conversation went south very fast, how can this be so strongly disputed by him if he hasn't seen the pictures?Guess I will wait for another Google response.

My recent experience at Labadie Buick GMC in Bay City was deeply disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my story as a cautionary tale about their subpar mechanical inspection process and deceptive sales tactics. My salesperson, Chuck, was friendly and informed me that the Jeep had previously belonged to one of their staff members. Multiple individuals assured me that the previous owner had been "very meticulous" and had taken excellent care of the vehicle. Chuck also claimed that certified mechanics had thoroughly inspected it and found no issues. When I asked about the need for new tires, Chuck insisted that it was unnecessary. To prepare for future tire replacements, I requested the tire size, which Chuck provided. I cross-verified the information on Belle Tire's website and, trusting Chuck's expertise, believed that tire replacement wasn't an immediate concern, assuming the provided tire size was accurate.Once my Jeep was delivered, I took it for a quick spin around the block, I immediately noticed trouble with the brakes, nearly resulting in a collision with another vehicle. I decided to have the wheels inspected at a conveniently located Belle Tire near my home. Approximately an hour later, I received a call informing me that the tire size provided by the dealership was incorrect and that my tires were actually a year older than the car. They urgently needed replacement, with each tire's cost escalating from $171 to $291. Additionally, the timeline for replacement changed from non-immediate to immediate, as the tire tread measured only 2/32 of an inch, which is considered illegal to drive in Michigan. Faced with no choice, I authorized the tire replacement. The following day, Belle Tire called once again. They reported that my brakes were completely worn out, with a bent caliper resulting in improper functioning and causing one of the brake pads to wear off entirely. The situation had reached a dangerous metal-on-metal state, rendering the vehicle unsafe to drive. The Belle Tire representative expressed shock, saying, "This vehicle should not have been sold in this condition by the dealership; it's dangerous, even for a test drive."Clearly, Labadie Buick GMC had not conducted a thorough evaluation of the vehicle. It was frustrating to uncover these issues, given my trust in their expertise and expectation of a reliable and fully functional car.Carefully reviewing the purchase contract, I discovered that the listed sales price had been altered, increasing from $23,786 to $24,460. They surreptitiously added $674 to the purchase price, subjecting me to additional taxes on that amount. I acknowledge that I should have been more vigilant and noticed this discrepancy, but with numerous other fees involved, it was challenging to pinpoint at the time. Undisclosed additional costs of this nature felt nothing short of a rip-off.When I confronted Chuck about the inflated price, he attributed it to a "dealership" fee of $930. However, his explanation failed to justify the added fees, further confirming the deceptive and mistreating practices employed by Labadie Buick GMC.The final bill from Belle Tire amounted to $2,329.41. Furthermore, the undisclosed changes to the contract's purchase price resulted in a loss of $714, including tax. Consequently, my total loss due to misplaced trust in Labadie Buick GMC in Bay City amounted to $3,043.41.Overall, my experience at Labadie Buick GMC in Bay City left me immensely dissatisfied. Their inadequate mechanical inspection process led to unexpected repairs and inconveniences shortly after my purchase. The undisclosed additional costs, despite discussing them with Chuck, felt deceitful and unethical. Moreover, Chad, the manager, never responded to my calls or offered any form of apology or reimbursement for the issues or the deceptive behavior of his staff. To prospective buyers considering Labadie Buick GMC, I strongly recommend conducting a thorough inspection with an independent mechanic before finalizing any purchase. Not good customer service in body shop. Not friendly. Only way to get a returned call- call again! Although head person in dealership did take care of my situation. I hope not to ever return. They tried to make me a happy customer, but all they needed to do was be kind. Everything was finely ok for me then I had to wait more than 20 min because no one knew where to find me car. The place is not that big. I have not dealt with sales, assuming they are fine.

Everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful. Jeff and Kevin were very knowledgeable about the different vehicle functions and went out of their way to make sure I got the best deal and got the car that I really liked better-even though it was the lesser of the 2 in price. The dealership was very clean with nice amenities, like Starbucks coffee and popcorn. They took their time with me and even though there were a few hiccups along the way, they did everything possible to make sure that my experience was a positive and pleasurable one!

Labadie took their time and made our vehicle shopping experience amazing, we went from overwhelmed and frustrated to satisfied and extremely pleased. We got exactly what we wanted because they worked with us and listened to our needs and wants. Nathan, our salesman worked so hard to get us the perfect vehicle for what our family needed. We couldn't be happier and would recommend Labadie 10/10. Thank you labadie for all your hard work and dedication and treating us like family instead of just another sale.
