We are no longer shopping at Meijer. Here are my reasons why; 1. Upon finishing my shopping, the three lanes that were open were loaded with people waiting to check out and no one was opening new lanes, 2. While waiting in line someone came up and asked me if I wanted to sign up for a Meijer card. I said, "No thank you". I was asked 2 more times by the same person. People shouldn't feel pressured to get their card, especially when they're waiting in a long line and 3. I stood in that line for 15 minutes. I don't know if they were having computer problems or what. I ended up leaving my items on the conveyor and going to Kroger to do my shopping.

It's our primary place to shop for groceries and other items. They do a great job. It was a bit of a mess during the pandemic, but they try Dargis are you? It's all you can ask for.

This has to be one of the worst run grocery store in the country. I waited an hour to find a customer service rep to help with unlock a tv to buy. They are all security locked. Only one employee working in electronics. She was working very hard. It's not her fault. One hour later the district manager arrived from the back in suit and tie to help. But by then three people were waiting to be helped. When asked why he did not have more help he answered " no one is applying." No one is applying is because no one can live on minimum wage or even 10 bucks an hour. No one can eat. No one can rent an apartment or own a car to drive to work. That's why. Can no one in management see this? Or care? It's pathetic. I counted three people on the floor at 1 pm. All walking busy with customers in tow. The store is depressing to shop in with no music overhead. In fact they no longer sell music. They must be anti music. Some clothes but not much. Unkept clothing department. Racks with hangers strewn empty. The only positive about meijer is that it's close my home. But that's it. Their meat department is just okay. However, store overall restocking is slow. No help anywhere.

I recentlywent here and we used the self-checkout. Not once but twice did the machine say we were putting things in the bagging area which we weren't. Then, when we were finally at the payment part, we used card. The transaction went through perfectly and then went to the first page again. So, we grabbed our items and left. When we got out to our car we noticed a employee running towards us and yelling we hadn't paid for our items and that we were stealing. I said we didn't and the transaction went through perfectly and so did my daughter, he kept going on and he was insistent I didn't pay. So, I went back to the store, leaving my daughter to wait with our stuff. Another cashier commented that I was caught on camera not paying for my items. After I swiped the card once more, I said sorry for being such a thief, then I left. I feel that the employees could have handled the situation better. If my card was declined, maybe your machine would say so..

I appreciate that Meijer has Plenty of Amigos always charged up and ready to go since I have trouble getting around. They always have large selections of products from groceries to clothing.

Small compared to other Meijer stores. Not the greatest selection of things. The recent renovation was ok. Drive thru now for the pharmacy is good.

I guess the smaller the town, the smaller the Meijer and the smaller the selection within the Meijer. I've been having good luck finding clearance eyelash yarn at other locations but this store had the smallest selection of yarn yet. I didn't buy anything. They had a nice clean restroom which I greatly appreciated.
