I give this dealership 2 thumbs up. Alex Henderson was fantastic, very responsive and has great knowledge of the Kia car brand. Any questions I had he quickly answered very thoroughly. I visited 5 Kia dealers looking to drive a bunch of different models and Alex by far was the best sales person I worked with. I didn't end up buying from Thelen due to inventory of the vehicle I wanted but I wish that I could have sealed the deal with Alex. I highly recommend going to Thelen for any Kia models you are looking for.

This is the third time that we have used the Body shop at Thelen twice for damage to my sons Kia, and once for my daughters Subaru. Each time I was completely floored at how perfect a job they did. The person there is great. I trust them fully, and I am truly grateful they are here to serve the small community so well. Big shout out to you guys thank you.

Great service but I wish they did appointments for oil changes and such. I live 60 miles away and had to wait over 1 1/2 hrs for a standard oil change, tire rotation and inspection. If I had driven that distance and they weren’t able to get me in, I would be very upset. I prefer to have these services done at the dealership but it would be nice if they did some appointments for those people that don’t have the availability to wait that long.

I took my brand new Kia K5 for its first oil change and the mechanic didn’t put in the appropriate amount of oil. I didn’t know this until after I drove it for the afternoon and the low engine oil notification came on that evening. This was a Saturday so I couldn’t get my car back to them to check it until Monday morning. The gentlemen that helped me Monday morning apologized which I appreciate, but how does the Saturday mechanic not check the dipstick before sending the car back to the customer? He should have seen that the oil was still low and needed to add the correct amount. I don’t think I’ll be taking my car back there unless I really need to.

We Bought a 2023 Kia Sportage from Thelen Kia of bay city. Very good dealership and great customer service. Our sales agent Marty was excellent with the whole process and explained everything in details about the vehicle.

I had an unfortunate issue with my Sportage and had it towed to Thelen Kia Bay City (I live 115 miles away). Ashley in service is a10 out of 10. The issue took three months to resolve and she answered all my questions and always kept me in the loop on everything. This woman needs a raise definitely. Her customer service was excellent and if I lived closer would only deal with her and this dealership. A++++

Very disappointed in the customer service that I experienced.Brought my wife's Telluride in for multiple dash lights / warnings (forward collision, airbags, ABS, etc) and at one point even had loss of power steering. Service was very great to let me bring the vehicle in and read the codes to see what was going on. That was the extent of my good service.Couldn't get me in right away - which was disappointing given the safety concerns with the vehicle - but was scheduled an appointment for a week later...Aug 24th (Thursday)...my wife dropped off the vehicle first thing in the morning; I waited all day, no call or any updates; I called at the end of the day and was told that the tech didn't get to it that day but I was 'first on the list' in the morning. Frustrating, but ok.Waited all day the next day (Aug 25th / Friday)...again, no call or updates all day. Again I call at the end of the day to see if we would have a car for the weekend...no answer...left a voicemail. Call was returned a while later and again I was told that no one was able to look at / service my car and to pick it up and bring it back on Monday.I understand that things happen and maybe Thelen has a shortage of techs...but it is completely unacceptable to make an appointment, take someone's car that they're still paying good $$ for, and have zero communication or effort over multiple days.

It's unfortunate this dealership is so far away from me. I had the best experience at a dealership service dept I've ever had. My car was towed there as the nearest Kia center and I feel very fortunate it was. The service department helped me via phone and email. When I picked up the car, every one was cheerful and friendly. Based on this one experience, I would recommend Thelen Kia to anyone in the area.

I have a lot of mixed emotions so let's start with a back story. My partner and MIL all went in together to get new vehicles. Dom and Alex both get a 5 star. Dom was able to get me into a, what I thought, was a really nice kia. Drove it to Saginaw and by time I get to Saginaw the engine blew. Sent it right back with the tow truck bill and made sure they covered the bill. Few days later the guys get me into a Chevy equinox, just for that engine to blow as well. The kia had a part that was supposed to be replaced and never got that job done before selling the car to me. Cancelled that contract with no questions asked. Still waiting to hear back from the warranty company to see if they are going to cover the repairs that the equinox has, also I have only had the equinox for a little over 2 months. Chevy dealership thinks the warranty company is going to say no since it was a preexisting issue.What really bothers me is that the General Manager or even an Operations manager has not even gave me a second of their time to apologize for the inconvenience of selling me not one but two cars with bad motors. They get a 1 star for not even sending a letter.I did test drive both cars and they both drove fine so me not being a mechanic, never expected that cars that I drive of the lot will blow an engine the same day or 2 months from the day of purchase.What I find even funnier is I got a call a few days ago to pick up the Kia. So clearly there is a problem with communication within the business as well because the lady on the phone was never told that I purchased a new vehicle.I find it wild that something that was supposed to be an exciting moment had nothing but horrors tied along with it.I'm not really one to write reviews but this one definitely needed one. Would I suggest someone to go their, sure, the guys definitely did their part.I get not every car is going to be the best running and routine maintenance is a thing but this situation was far from normal wear and tear. Failure on the service department or whoever checks the cars when the car is put onto the lot. Failure definitely to the upper management. Do a better job for the customers who shop your lots and make sure to follow up on situations like mine.

Amazing service! Jeff Martin was my sales representative and he did an amazing job. Talked through all the options, answered questions honestly, and helped get to the best deal possible. Travis did a fantastic job walking me through the details of the transaction. Overall very happy with Thelen Kia! Amazing service and amazing vehicles.

Marty Leddy at Thelen Kia was a great help with my first ever new car purchase. A Kia Soul S line. Marty is knowledgeable about the vehicles he sells and makes the process really easy and simple. He went over everything about the vehicle before I left Thelen Kia to ensure I knew how to use all the features of my new Kia. He goes above and beyond for his customers to get them best deals and to make sure they are completely satisfied before they leave. Great friendly service. A excellent car buying experience.
