“This is a pretty standard Dollar General, but this location has a few extras that make it especially convenient. You’ll find all of the usual Dollar General basics—household supplies, cleaning products, toiletries, snacks, drinks, canned goods, pantry staples, and a good amount of seasonal merchandise.
One thing that sets this location apart from some smaller Dollar General stores is the fresh produce section. It isn’t huge, but they carry a useful selection of fruits and vegetables, including bananas, potatoes, onions, avocados, tomatoes, citrus, and other basics. If you only need a few ingredients for dinner, it could definitely save you a trip to a larger grocery store.
They also have a fairly substantial refrigerated beer section with a variety of domestic, craft, and imported options. There were considerably more choices than I expected to find in a Dollar General.
The store also had a large seasonal section when I visited, with plenty of Halloween and fall decorations already on display. The layout is typical for Dollar General, and there’s a surprisingly wide variety of merchandise packed into the space.
Overall, there’s nothing particularly fancy about this location, but that really isn’t the point. It’s a convenient neighborhood store with the everyday essentials you expect, plus fresh produce and a good beer selection.
