About Erin Motel
Erin Motel is a clean, charming, and simple hotel with an incredible and perfect location. It is less than a three-minute walk to the ferry, within walking distance of restaurants and stores, and offers great bay views. Guests enjoy waking up to the sound of Lake Michigan waves. The owners are truly wonderful people who make you feel very welcomed, at home, and are sincerely sweet, considerate, and extremely helpful. They provide excellent customer service, going above and beyond with an exceptional level of generosity, care, kindness, and attention to detail. The rooms are nice, sparkling clean, and have comfortable beds. A very minor note is that there is no air conditioning, but an oscillating fan and windows that open for a nice breeze from the lake are provided. The lack of AC does not deter guests from returning. Many state it will always be their first choice and that they will be back, considering it their business for a lifetime.

Kim provided excellent customer service, going above and beyond. I made a special request for one of her guests and she delivered with upmost kindness, attention to detail, & prompt. In a matter of less than an hour my friend received a surprise gift. Thank you SO much!

I kind of hate to leave five stars, as we want to keep this place a secret! Best location in town, one block from the ferry. Kim let us borrow her Jeep for a ride around the island, and was very attentive to our other needs. Great rooms, great bay views, too many other "greats" to list. See you next year. Greg & Patti.
