I am an older client who has concussion issues from an auto accident. Steve has done a great job tailoring my workout to compensate for my dizziness. Only 5 weeks in and I'm really seeing a difference in how I feel and what I can do. I recommend this gym to my friends.

Be cautious when signing up. There is financial baggage, apparently, when you terminate your agreement. From the time you terminate, Anytime Fitness will take up to 30-days to actually facilitate the termination. Until that time your termination is "pending". While you are pending, you are still responsible for membership charges. And the annual facilities maintenance charge.I terminated by phone call on December 27th. It is January 12th and I am still paying. Paying for January. Paying for 2024 maintenance fees for a facility that I'm not using--and will not be using. (And by the way, your "home" gym can change without your input. I live in Nebraska; this site is in Michigan.)Each location is responsible for charging the customers. Not the corporation. The location. When I called the location--speaking to Ray--I asked to be released from financial responsibility. He declined. When I asked to speak to the next higher echelon, he hung up on me. He would not take subsequent calls. He would not return my call when I left a message.Anytime Fitness has some positive amenities that served me well when I needed them. But they are expensive compared to other fitness chains. And their termination clause is downright extortional.Again: Know what you are signing up for. And be cognizant of the customer service experience; it speaks volumes.

It's the contracts you can't get out of for me. Unfortunately my boyfriend and I decided to split up and I've already had issues with a differnt anytime fitness and really wanted a pool and sauna / steam room amenity so I decided to join WCC. There im not locked into a 3 year contract. I can cancel as long as my dues for the month haven't started to process or i can put my membership on hold for a short amount of time. Unfortunately my ex was not able to remove me and just keep his membership for himself and now he has to pay for a two person membership until the end of the year. I just think it's lame that you cant make adjustments to your memebership or choose to end your membership when you want. It's the lack of autonomy or the fact that this gym doesn't take into consideration that people's lives shift and while I agree a contract should hold you accountable it should not trap you when something you thought would work out doesn't. You can't predict certain outcomes in life and your gym shouldnt keep you stuck paying for something that isn't being used by a 2nd party.

The most comprehensive gym I've seen in awhile. When you see a hammer strength glute ham machine you know this is a serious gym. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced, this place will provide you with the equipment necessary to achieve your goals.

For a gym "trainer" Stephen Klobucar doesn't have any etiquette. I was working in my zone, and he came into my space without asking me to use the machine. He took over the machine, and when I called him out, he told me to go use another machine (which he can do). Unprofessional, uneducated, and lacking the basics of good behavior. I went to the manager and told her all about the incident, and I asked to terminate my membership since I felt I'm not welcomed in this gym. She promised to reach out , but no one did.

Seems nice, can't figure out why half the people that work out here park as close as they can to the door but...

So far it's a good gym! My only complaint was there was no stair climber but now that there is one I am happy! I love the access all hours of the day and that it's smaller. Good replacement gym for the anytime I was attending in woodhaven since it is closer to me now. I just wish there were more mirrors!

My husband tried bringing me during staffed hours and we were told he wasn't allowed to have a guest. There is a sign on the door that says guest entrance and their website says they allow guests. The woman that kicked us out was extremely rude. In order to avoid confusion on the future, I suggest taking now the sign that says "guest entrance" and replacing it with " new member" entrance. The Antime Fitness website absolutely states that they have a guest policy. Which makes sense because LA Fitness allows guests and so does Planet Fitness. Both gyms are cheaper and have more equipment AND you won't get locked into a 2 year contract at a gym that treats its members poorly.

Great place, always clean and always available. Just what I needed after terrible service from planet fitness down the street.

Update post-COVID re-opening.The facility is still extremely nice. It has been some time since I visited this specific location. Remembering all I said below, I decided to give it a go.While they check the mark for posting signs encouraging adherence to public health measures, enforcement is subpar (at least, during the staffed hours I was there). No additional measures have been taken to make cleaning supplies more available. Distancing between cardio equipment is not enforced. Mask disuse is allowed from what I observed.Elaborating more, when I walked in during staffed hours I observed a couple without masks. Easy enough to distance from them. However, as they were using the area I would have liked to utilize, I was unable to comfortably approach that space. It wasn't long before another member approached without a mask in sight. It was apparent to me that mask use was not part of the new rules or culture there.Long story short: if cleanliness and public health measures are something important to you then this location is not for you. I really hope that can change as the facility is nice, there's plenty of equipment, and I used to enjoy workouts here. Now, I'd much rather drive the extra distance to a gym that takes these measures seriously.__________________Out of all the Anytime Fitness gyms I have been to, this one is my favorite. By far, the best Anytime in the metro Detroit area, this place is always clean and has all of the amenities needed for a beginner and advanced lifters. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They can also direct you in the right direction if they don't have an answer for your questions.Highly recommend making the trip to this gym. Even if there is a closer Anytime Fitness to you.
