He doesn't know me from any one else, and got me the ignition module to fix my bike. He didn't try to upsell me like the harley dealers. Drove an hour, but worth it. Very friendly individual. Will do business again!

Larry seams like a great/down to earth kinda guy. Needed a dirt bike tire and tube mounted up and the local mx guy was outta town. Even though thats not what Larry's shop services, he handled it in a very timely manor. Would definitely recommend.

I went to Gilson Cycle and had them put new innertube and remount my new tires onto the rims. My motorcycle got a flat about a week later while I was in Jackson MI. I was able to fix the flat the next day and discovered that a 2.25-2.50 innertube was used instead of a 3.50-18 innertube on my 100/90-18 Front Tire. I did a google search and every chart that I looked at shows a 2.50 innertube can be used on a 80/90-18 Front Tire. You can see the size difference in the included pictures.
I called Gilson Cycle this morning was told that the innertube he used was fine. I don't agree and feel like I should have been told he was using the smaller size at the very least. I also asked if he could tell me the size of the innertube he used in the back and he just kept repeating he used the size off the tire. I don't think it is a good idea to believe him, since the front tire was an inch smaller, so now I am going to go another motorcycle shop and have them check see what is actually in the rear tire. I can honestly say that I don't feel safe riding my motorcycle until I have the work checked that Gilson Cycle did and I am lucky I didn't get the flat until after I got to Jackson.
I would not recommend this shop to any person.

Just called to ask about getting a part for my bike. Guy on phone was exactly rude and hung up on me. Was on the phone with him just long enough to ask my question and he said no and hung up. I had my 2014 ultra limited in to have some engine work done and Larry told me that I should update a couple of things as I had almost 60000 miles on it. I wanted to up the performance of my bike and Larry made a few suggestions and I went with what he suggested and now I'm so happy that I listened to him!!!
