I politely asked if they were done taking donations and the man doing the lifting in the back yelled at me we're done. I get being done for the day but you can use your manners back. Very unhappy and will no longer be taking my donations here.

Unfortunately you come here to donate stuff and they act like you owe them apologies. Gonna think twice before donating to this place again. There are no words from the guy that works there, no hi or hello or good morning. No thank you either. It’s sad, disappointing to say the least.

I gave a one star, only because I had to give something so I could do a review. But really I dont give this store any stars! I will be reporting the Goodwill in Benton Harbor Mi. I purchased a few items there today and one of the items they refused to sell to me at the price it was marked. I told them by law they have to sell the item as marked and it was not my problem that they priced it incorrectly, then the girl at the counter went as far as accusing me of putting that price tag on the item, all in front of a store full of customers. The manager came over and again I told him by law that they have to sell the item as marked. The manager then took the item to the back and brought it back up to the front with a new price tag and said it was mismarked. He said he understood about the Michigan Law about having to sell the item to the customer as they are marked, but said that he isnt going to do it.

This place is WAY overpriced. Here’s how overpriced they are: a simple “reduce” mug (look it up) can be found for 24.99 at target, or 14.99-18.99 at Office Depot. They’ve got one (used) for 19 dollars. That’s how the whole store was. Idk who this “nonprofit” thinks they are, but clearly there is a scam going on here. This place deserves 0 stars, but goes back up to one star as everyone working was nice.

I saw a few reviews about prices being too high and I agree. $60 for a food vac and seal, $30 for cast iron skillet, and 35 for a coffe pot. Alot of items had some high retail priced items. I left empry handed

This locations prices are INSANE. I would list particular items for examples but that would take me all day so I'll list two of the biggest eye roll, smh moments. A normal non stick USED pot and pan set that normally sells for around $150 NEW was priced at $120!!! A non brand insulated mug that sells at a Home Depot for $24.99 was priced at $19!!!!Even the employees were shocked! They even double checked the price for us because they didn't believe it!The only good at this Goodwill store were the employees.

I had a bassinet to drop off. Drove over. Unloaded it only to be told they would not take it because it had dust on it. I took it to HCM and they were excited to take it off my hands. I also took them the clothes I was going to give to Goodwill, but I got a little sour after they wouldn't take my bassinet. They said it was not clean. Mind you, it was all washed and clean, it had just been sitting. It was not covered in dust, just a little dust on the bottom.

My daughter is special needs and has a support person to help her run errands, which today was drop off a donation. They were treated so rudely by a staff member because it was 4:15 and somehow they were supposed to know the cut off for donations is 4:00. I get that you’re short staffed, but you can’t just treat people with that level of disrespect. Plus, put up a sign that says No Donations Taken After 4:00.

I go to this Goodwill as often as I can because I always find something there, and never walk out empty-handed. You have to carefully look at items and your expectations. I have found some real treasures there that I would never find anywhere else, unless maybe an antique store. Books are great and DVD's! I have found many unique things that are perfect gifts for people that seem to have everything. Staff is very nice, although you could use more staff. It always seems as though the check-out person is always doing a lot more than checking people out. It would also be nice if you had the clothes more seriously sorted by size, and in larger sizes (X- 4X). I always have fun poking around here to find one-of-a-kind treasures, and never spend less than an hour because there is so much to look at. I encourage people to give it a try...or a second try.

Your employees need to realize that all old people aren’t deaf, so you shouldn’t be making fun of them. Also it’s not cool to make fun of people with disabilities. Did you completely lose your mission to help others?

Went here to get a crazy looking outfit, ended up looking like an insane person. I can say I'm not one for goodwill, everything is usually nasty, but they definitely have low prices. The workers were nice and I had a good time.
