About Yad Ezra
Yad Ezra is a community gem and the only 100% kosher certified food bank in metro Detroit. Run entirely by dedicated volunteers, the food bank goes the extra mile to serve its clients. Clients must sign up first, and be aware of the food bank's irregular hours and closures on Jewish holidays. While clients can only visit once a month, they receive a generous distribution of items including chicken, ground beef, cheese, baked goods, eggs, toilet paper, household goods, baby items, produce, and non-perishables. The food bank is praised for its smart and good application of donor gifts, meeting the needs of many families and seniors facing hunger. Clients describe the staff as wonderful, friendly, and helpful, with a wonderful kosher food pantry experience.

This food bank supports people who need food. Placed my order. The only complaint is I told them I didn't want certain foods, and they still gave me what I didn't want. So I gave the foods to people who needed it. Very nice people, friendly and professional. I appreciate what they do.

Very good people there they're friendly they're there to help you pull up Park call them they bring out your package of foods and load up your truck or car really nice experience very nice people if you need help is there for you
