Now at Broadway Auto Repair I got an estimate, took it in got it fixed and guess what The bill was lower Yes that's right lower and I tell you something I have never had that happen to me. I am often overcharged for unnecessary things. Section 12 is straightforward. They don’t charge a penny more than what you need. “Traveling on vacation to see waterfalls in a lot of remote places when I noticed one of my new tires was low on air. Jerry's got me in on short notice on a Saturday. The mechanic very thoroughly inspected the tire, pumped the tire back up to the correct pressure, remounted it an torqued the lug nuts to spec. Since no repair was needed, they didn't charge me! Everything was done by the book - very old school family service. Much appreciated!”
“I was borrowing a friend's car and headed for a trip to the Porcupine mountains when the ' oil change required' light came on . OMG, it was a Saturday, and I called Gogebic and got in immediately. The whole oil change took less time than it took to send two text messages. They were so super nice and great. Highly recommended.”
“I have a feeling there's not a person in the world who knows more about VWs than Eric. He's been fixing my family's cars since I was a kid. I live a ways away, but found myself with a major car issue while visiting home recently. He fixed that well, but also did a thorough sweep of the car and repaired a bunch of other stuff that would have caught up with me in time and caused bigger problems. It's been running better than it has in a long time, and I feel safer in it. Other mechanics have been fixing the biggest things to buy me time, maybe out of consideration for lifespan (my car is high mileage) but I also think because it's tedious to be thorough. Eric caught things (like a cabin filter I never checked!) that many others didn't take the time to look for. His prices are more than fair. I'm grateful for him!”

“It turns out that I have a similar story to many others that have received amazing service from Lahti Towing during a vehicle emergency. I got a flat and happened to pull over right in front of their shop. I limped my truck into their parking lot. They got me in immediately and I was on my way in 20 minutes and they charged me next to nothing. Thank you Lahti Towing! Another example of the generosity of the fine people from the UP. Btw-I never write reviews but I want them to know how much I appreciated their help.”

“The owner is terse, but straightforward, which I appreciate. I've been doing business with them for over a decade. I highly recommend them. They've never done me wrong and are a lot faster than going through a dealership. They wouldn't sell you anything that they wouldn't buy for themselves. Being there was almost like being in a comedy sitcom.

“I brought my car in on Friday thinking my steering pump was shot after they inspected it it came to find out it was the rack and pinion they didn't charge me anything they were real friendly and my power steering sounded and drove better than when I bought it 3 months ago. I will definitely be bringing my Auto problems to them from now on. Will be recommending them to everyone I know.”
