I was in the area visiting my family. I stopped at General Dollar to grab a few things. I was so disappointed! I have visited a lot of General Dollar stores and this one is not organized. I noticed a gentleman asking for help in finding something. If the store lay out was correct- you could find it. The manager was very rude and very disrespectful. I owned a business for years, and as a business owner I would expect my employees to be respectful and helpful to guests. That is not what is happening here. I think the manager needs coaching with customers. I know it’s the holiday season. Maybe she needs a vacation? What ever it maybe…You can not handle customers like that- very disappointing to have witnessed such behavior.

Corporate refuses to assign enough hours to restock shelves. Unable to get wheelchair to the toilet rooms due to unpacked merchandise in the way. After squeezing through, found the toilet rooms are locked with a key and you have to go back to the register, wait in line to beg for the key. The toilet key has something chained to it which is a vector for fecal matter and using the key requires the twisting of the wrist and doesn't meet ADA.

I was at this store yesterday and the hours say it opens at 8a.m. I was there at ten til 9 and it wasn't open and waited just in case the hours were wrong until after 9 to be specific it was 12 after nine and the doors were still not unlocked. You might want to get your stuff together here.
