This was extremely educational. I'm so glad we took the time to walk the entire tour. It's so important for our state fishery. I think this is a must see if you have time. Young or old, it really explains a lot about where our Coho Sslmon come from. To see the process up close was very interesting!

Offers a self-guided tour of the hatchery where you can see fish in tanks, and a view of the weir used to help channel spawning fish back into the hatchery. There wasn't a lot of activity in August but it was interesting to read about the introduction of salmon to the Great Lakes to control the Alewife.

Great place to see. The only thing I didn't like is it self guided tours. I wish the would offer a guide to answer questions. I would definitely pay for a guide. All in all a must see.

Excellent fish hatchery (mostly self guided tour - follow the blue fish on the sidewalks!) and a good place to learn about the history of salmon in the Great Lakes.
