I saw Dr. Clark in Big Rapids, because I went with my mom originally. I returned because Dr. James Clark was very caring and concerned about my hearing abilities. So, I incorporated a hearing test with a visit to my mom's. I have been very pleased with Dr. James Clark honesty and assistance with my hearing. Highly recommend his services.

James Clark has been wonderful at meeting my hearing aid needs. When I had hearing blockage because of illness he was able to access my condition and adjust my aids to make hearing possible. His office is very cooperative at making appointments and helping as needed.

The experience was totally gratifying. I never had to wait and the exam was extremely complete. I had previously had evaluations through an ENT/audiology provider and this experience at the Big Rapids store was much more satisfying. As a retired physician, I am in good position to appreciate the expertise of the service provided. The product quality and price were at least equal to that offered by the other providers and the personal care seemed to be delivered with much more enthusiasm . I have no reservations in recommending Miracle-Ear and the Big Rapids store in particular.

Worthwhile follow up appt. Put app on Android phone which helps incredibly. Retested and reset hearing aids which immediately improved everything. Cleaned aids and was my cheerleader in encouraging me to wear them regularly to get the most benefit. Past adjustments are still workable for comfort. Even with mild hearing loss, the sooner you get them, the better it is for your brain to get used to them.

I've had a couple sets of aids over the years, and they both ended up being taken out and left on the table or wherever I happened to be. What a joke. No control over anything, if i needed to hear in a gymnasium or any place with echo, then turning up the volume meant turning up all the excess noise as well. They were absolutely no help at all!Of course I was hesitant to try another set of aids, but my hearing was getting worse and my husband and friends were genuinely concerned about me. I agreed to ONE more try and said, "This is it though. If this pair doesn't work I'm DONE with aids and am just going to learn sign language!" So we tried Jim Clark at Miracle Ear. I'm telling you the guy knows what he's doing!!And the program they provide is incredibly technically advanced. As I have Menears Disease, fitting me for aids is a difficult process and NO ONE took the time like he did to assure that I could hear in any situation at any given time. Yes, they are definitely more expensive than the normal hearing aid, but they do so much more than the normal hearing aid!! I control everything through an app on my phone and tweak everything to my specific needs at the time. My husband and I consider the extra expense well worth it, especially when we consider the collective $8,000 spent on previous aides a complete waste because I never wore them!!So very thankful for Jim and his care! Just had a checkup and he retweaked my aids through the computer to fit my changing needs. Didn't pay a dime for it, all included in the initial price!

Really appreciate this office in Big Rapids. Easy to get an appointment and the staff were really friendly. They answered all my questions took care of my hearing issues. Very happy with my hearing aids.

I am somewhat taken back by the negative reviews that I read concerning Big Rapids Miracle Ear. I have visited this facility numerous times and have always been very pleased with the quality of service that I have received. Sure, I had to wait once or twice for service but the coffee is almost always hot to help me pass the time. Becky, the receptionist has always been friendly and helpful. Jim likewise has always been courteous and helpful adjusting, cleaning and doing things that he can to help me hear better. Do I hear the best? No. But I cannot blame the technology. I hear better than I did before. Sometimes we have to realize that technology doesn’t always work the same for everyone. I would, andhave recommended people to this business.

I am amazed at the difference that the Miracle Ear hearing aids made in my hearing. When Jim finished setting the units, he had me close my eyes and then asked my wife to ask questions from three different locations. I answered them correctly, then he had me come and see where she stood when asking the last question To my amazement, she was completely down the hall from where I was sitting! Today I was involved in an approximately one hour long, three person conference call, with typical electronic background sounds and was able to hear both other participants. Before this, I would have simply given up and turned off the phone!

I'm posting for my aunt, she was yelled at for arriving 20 min early for an appointment and then made to sit and wait for an hour before being seen with no one else coming or going from office. This is not how you treat people. She will not be going back! This person shouldn't call himself a doctor, he doesn't care!

I had an appointment there and was there on time. I asked to see some samples of hearing aids, but they wanted me to fill out a lot of paper work "FIRST" . When I asked again, they ignored me. What ever happened to customer service?? All they care about is the money, not taking care of a customer and their concerns. TERRIBLE PLACE!!!!! Even my insurance company warned me about doing business with them. Guess they were right.
