We broke a chainsaw in last fall and when we went to use it the screw were not all way in and did not know. They took several months to fix. Now brought back on and 3 weeks later and twice promised would order screw to fix ; they said sorry messed up order again and still need to order a third time. I would not recommend this place . They make mistakes and do not keep their word!

Love this place! They are a Greenworks authorized service center, and I had a Greenworks lawnmower stop working. Brought it in, and they diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately, Greenworks would not provide a replacement part, so Ernie and their service tech submitted a warranty claim. The claim went through, and a brand new mower was delivered. Picked it up today, and they unboxed it, set it up, and put it in our vehicle. Bonus... they refunded the diagnostic bench fee because it ended up being covered under the warranty. State St. is busy at times, so you may have a short wait in shop or for service... but I'll take that given the excellent and reliable service. They also have an expanded selection of all things yardcare from zero turns, riders, walk behinds, chain saws, trimmers and blowers. Great place to find parts also. Two thumbs up for St. Street Hardware!!

I miss the old hardware store this use to be but absolutely love what it is. Great deals and prices, amazing equipment. And just going in to see all the antiques is well worth the trip and time! Service is extraordinary!

They may be a good place to buy your chainsaw/generator but we're very unorganized Ernie was helpful but the guy who I delt with at first ( not Ernie or Trent)wasn't,heard the same thing told to two others and myself " can't find the paperwork"and "wasn't sure if company would cover it or send the parts,as far as work went I guess they done a good job,it runs...
