I was disappointed with my recent visit to Floyd’s 99. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment time to check in. However, despite checking in early, I ended up waiting over 20 minutes past my appointment without being helped.During the long wait, the front desk staff stayed occupied on their phones and did not provide any updates, apologies, or indicate how much longer the wait may be. After almost a half an hour of waiting well past my appointment time, I eventually had to leave without receiving any services. The staff gave a half-hearted apology as I exited, but there was no real attempt to make up for the extensive wait time or lost appointment slot.I wish I could have had a more positive experience here. In the future, I would suggest improving customer communication, timeliness, and overall service quality - especially for those with appointments. More attentive staff and timely services would go a long way in customer satisfaction. I may consider giving this location another try in the future if I hear that improvements have been made.

We were customers of the Troy location. We loved that bldg. The inside had taller ceilings and was about double the size of this location. The parking was also super easy. Unfortunately they closed and combined with this Birmingham location. Parking is a bit of a hassle. Especially if you come out at a busy time. Youll probably need to park behind the store.. The bldg itself is ok but its just not as amazing as Troy was. Not as much room for posters on the walls, etc. They still play great music though. There's a lot more action at this location which is nice to see.. Everyone we met was friendly. (Just in case you expected it to be as quiet as Troy was).We drove out here from Troy because Bryan, the manager is the only person my teen wants cutting his hair. My kid ended up disappointed after every haircut at another popular place we frequented where the "stylists" were a lot older and didn't seem to know what they were doing half the time. Soooo we found Bryan. Hes amazing. He handles my quirky kid well and my kid has never once complained. Its a huge relief. Bryan is great at what he does and he's very consistent once he knows what you want. Hes polite and well-mannered. I'm glad to see him as a manager here as well. Its well-deserved. But please, don't move him again unless you bring him back to Troy!

Chelle did an AMAZING job! Incredibly close attention to detail she took her time to make sure it looked perfect! So relaxing, definitely recommend her! AND the shoulder massage was legit!! 11/10 job! Thanks Chelle :)

I visited Floyd's today for a Floyd's cut. I was able to book my appointment online, park easily for free on the street, and I got warmly greeted by Rachel right away. My stylist Kidist was fast and friendly. I was looking for a sophisticated pixie cut with clean edges and texture added. She did all of this and more. I appreciated her wonderful scissor work, attention to detail, and her showing me ways to style it at the end. Every other person I encountered was friendly and as usual the soundtrack and atmosphere was Floyd's cool. I highly recommend them.

I started going to Floyd’s in Troy about a year ago. Kept going to Bryan, best barber in town. When he moved to the Birmingham location, it was an easy decision to go to this location. My boys and I will continue to see Bryan as long as he is there.
