Petite Cabane is so special. It has stunning children's clothing, a delightful selection of books, and whimsical toys. Everything is the highest quality, which has become such a rarity. The treasures we pick out here have brought great joy to our family and friends. What I think is really unique is that customers become so much more than "a face in the crowd". The employees take an interest in those who stop by and have wonderful suggestions- really hearing what you came in to find. We've enjoyed the special events they have put on and were incredibly impressed with their dedication to gather supplies and donations for those in need in Ukraine. This store has a wonderful heart for the community. I'm incredibly thankful for Petite Cabane and will be a customer always.

Customers mean nothing to this lady ONLY THEIR MONEY. She acts like the world owes her and has to revolve around her whim. If she thinks you will pay her she is so good to you and the moment the INSTANT she thinks she won't get anything from you her willingness to be rude will make your head spin. Do business ANYWHERE besides here

Dropped in this morning as my kid needed a sweater or coat! The lovely owner went in the back and found a sweater in no time. She paired it with a lovely little house on the prairie kids scarf and we were SET to brave this cold weather. The store is laid out very nicely and all items are SUPER cute.

One of Birmingham's true gems! Beautiful, high quality children's clothing. I've purchased several outfits for my daughter and it's always one of my first stops when shopping for gifts (both baby and older children). Friendly staff is great at helping to choose gifts within your budget and they will even gift wrap.

Love this store, and it's lovely owner. They were amazing when I was looking to send a present to my best friend for her new baby, taking care of packing it as a gift and shipping it to NYC.The quality and beauty of everything they sell will leave you drooling. I live in New York City but every time I visit my mom in Birmingham we can’t wait to make a stop at Petite Cabane. Carrie is so welcoming and always shows my daughter a delightful time. We are so grateful she also ships her wonderfully curated items out to the East Coast.

Extremely rude and snobby. We have bought several outfits from here before and books ans other items from here. My wife went in today with some of our family from out of town. Prior to going in, we had commented on how much we loved this little shop. Unfortunately, the store keeper asked us to leave if “we weren’t going to shop”—which we obviously were and had only been in the store a total of 3 minutes. Made us feel very badly and we were honestly shocked at her behavior. Completely put us in the mind of the scene from “Pretty Woman” when Julia Robert’s was treated so poorly by classless, uppity zeros. Will be letting my friends and family know to pass on this boutique.

This store is so lovely! The clothes are unique, high quality, and so cute. The owner was friendly and took the time to talk with us. She even made personalized tags and wrapped the gifts up for us. Definitely worth the trip!

I had the best experience at Petite Cabane . This boutique would rival any children’s clothing store in Paris or London. I was looking for a special gift to bring to a friend and her newborn baby. The lovely owner not only greeted me at the door but helped me select some gorgeous baby clothing. I ended up purchasing two layette sets and several accessories. Needless to say my friend was thrilled with the baby gift. I will definitely make it a point to shop here often and will definitely recommend to my friends and family .
