Dismal service and professionalism. Came in for a simple transaction when there were no other customers in the whole branch and 4 visible employees. Waited 5 minutes just to have the banker make several simple math errors, for which they never apologized and instead made excuses. In 14 years of banking with Chase, this was truly my worst customer experience.

One of the more unpleasant chase branches in the area. Staff is so poorly trained that they have to leave the desk to ask the manger for approval for everything. Employees might be slightly jaded due to dealing with the usual clientele on a daily basis. At least at other locations bankers put on a familiar nice guy/used car salesmen persona, not so much here. I would recommend visiting any other branch in the area. The line was also pretty lengthy.

I went to this bank to pay off a car loan. I was told a banker had to take care of me. I waited for 20 minutes. Another couple came in probably 15 minutes after me. The banker came out and took them first I raised my hand to him to tell him I was first but he totally ignored me. Then one of the girls, Rita, came out and said I could do it at the desk. So she tried to help me had no idea what she was doing got somebody else to help her as I was getting more and more upset. Then they told me I had to go back to the banker after all which I did. I asked him why he took those other people first and he said it was because he was told to. I am so upset right now I used to bank at this location and stopped because I feel they're very incompetent and have no communication or bad communication. What was supposed to be a five minute ordeal ended up taking 50 minutes. Last time I do this. Honestly Huntington is such a great bank and I've never had problems there and they're less than a mile away.

Third time to bank and atm was not accepting cash deposits. Most recent time, several people attempted to use the atm but were unsuccessful.

I only gave one star because it wouldn't let me post my review with zero stars but that's my real rating. My husband and I have had our joint account with Chase for over 25 years and before that this account was my husband's and he had it for over 10 years. We do all of our banking at this branch and pretty much have gotten to know the different tellers and managers through the years. I use the atm at this branch for every paycheck or deposit I need to make and my checks clear the very next day. This past Friday the atm was down, so I went through the drive through to deposit my paycheck. The teller took my check and another check I was going to deposit into another account and went inside the bank. I waited, waited, waited and finally 15 minutes later she came to the window with my deposit slip for one check and told me the funds would be available on June 26th, a whole 11 days later! When I asked her why she said it was because a hold was placed on it to verify the funds are there. I explained to her that my paychecks always clear the very next day when I deposit them in the atm. She said she didn't know why. I took my other check without depositing it and went to an atm. I deposited the 2nd check there and it cleared the next day even though it was for a higher amount. I called Chase and the loss prevention person I spoke to told me the hold was placed because they received an alert from the issuing bank stating the funds may not be available. The 2nd check I deposited in the atm was issued from the same bank and it was for twice the amount and it cleared the next day. I called Chase again two days later when I found out that none of my coworkers' checks had been placed on hold and I told the operator that the loss prevention person I had spoken to the day before had lied about why the hold was placed. The issuing bank never sent them an alert; the teller and manager at the Bloomfield Township office put a hold on my check because THEY SUSPECTED ME!!!! I told the current loss prevention person I was speaking to and she basically confirmed it by saying sometimes holds are computer generated and sometimes it's a human thing. I knew right away it was the teller and whoever gave her the go ahead to do it. I was fuming. I have never had an issue with any of my deposits and I am not a thief! I understand needing to verify things sometimes but 11 days to clear a check that normally takes 1!!!!! After telling the loss prevention person all this and telling her I was discriminated against, she looked into the check and "found" that it was fine and released the funds instantly. Needless to say, this account will be closed this afternoon and I will never step foot into another Chase bank again. When were the criminals who run these institutions and their l**** lowly tellers and bank managers who are all on power trips get to decide how and when to play with our money and who gave them this right. What a joke our country has become that criminals operate freely everyday and hard working normal Americans are treated like this. I hope Chase corporation crashes and fails.

This was the fastest trip to a bank, by far. Brought large cash deposit from charitable event and was in and out in less than five minutes. Very friendly and helpful staff.
