Pros: The classes are fun and the instructors are amazing. The personal training is top notch. The treadmills are great and absolutely loved the treadmill class options! Enjoyed shopping in the store but wish they updated the clothing on a more regular basis. I loved the steam room and products available for when you have to get ready at the gym. I love the scented chilled towels- such a nice touch! Cons: The personal training is extremely expensive on top of the already expensive membership. They cannot get a juice/smoothie business to stay there so you don't have that option like you do at Lifetime or Powerhouse, there is not enough equipment even considering how dead it is. They constantly increase prices- so much so, I could no longer go :(. The steam room was always missing the eucalyptus (sometimes it was avail- which was also a nice touch!). I think if they lowered the prices due to the lack of equipment, no infrared sauna option, no cafe, etc... I would have stayed.

Equinox DENIED me health access because I didn’t have a covid vaccine. Will never do business with them .

This is a good gym until it isn't. I have been a member for 2 ½ years, and I used the club for one-to-one training and pilates sessions. Both of the people I worked with were very good. The problem arises when you try to leave the gym. They have a policy that they will not refund money for unused training/pilates sessions. They are essentially unabashedly stealing $4990 of my money. I want to leave this gym entirely. I am freezing my membership to get physical therapy for a chronic re-injury. They make the freezing process difficult and unpleasant. There are a number of similar complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau. Please read them and buyer beware!Update: Equinox did resolve this issue to my satisfaction. I had to be a bit annoying to get that to happen, but ultimately they came through. Still, be aware, you need a solid medical reason to get a refund on unused sessions in a package deal.

WOW! This gym blows me away everytime around. The plunge pool the hot tub spa, the service Derryck especially is an angel! What a professional nice enthusiastic man. You can tell he loves what he does. I love everything about this gym. It’s got to be the best equinox in the entire US.

The owner of Lux cafe, housed within Equinox, is rude and disrespectful beyond belief! Everything else about Equinox is great (lovely trainers and facilities), so its a shame that they should vet their subcontractors better than that.

If you like a gym that closes at 9 pm Mo- Th, 8 pm on Fri, and 5 pm on weekends….where the shower heads haven’t been cleaned in nearly a year, where maintenance staff are all rude school-aged ”adults” except 1-2 of them, where the gym starts closing 30 min before actual close, where they spray chemical cleaners in showers next to yours while you’re using it, then this may be the one for you! Oh and if you try to share your joy with management, they absolutely do not care, which feels nice! Same with corporate. 0/10 would pass. Only plus is it’s basically empty majority of the time, which should have been my first clue ?

Nice facility but always seems a little empty and I have never heard of a gym closing so early, especially on weekends

Best workout in the business, all of the locations I've visited so far have exceeded my requirements. Membership is expensive but well worth the price.

With the hefty price comes some exclusivity. Equinox is the elite country club of gyms. I enjoy the salt water pool, the unlimited classes and the steam room. I mean who needs a dry sauna when you have a steam room! Lastly, Gabby is phenomenal and I love her boxing class. Oh, I can forget Linda and her wonderful yoga class. My only complaint is the unused cafe space. I really wish we had a smoothie bar or some sort of healthy dining option.

Don’t go! They forged my signature for payments! They also said unless passing away, then cannot refund me! They did not tell me I cannot cancel my membership within 1 year when I got the membership. And they don’t refund personal training sessions when the personal trainer left. If you spent any money there, you are stuck.

I had the pleasure of visiting here for the first time the other day. Derryck was very helpful in assisting me with potentially setting up a membership. It’s a very luxurious atmosphere, plenty of marble, a very private pool, hot tub area, modern machines, etc. I do however wish they’d have an outdoor pool area for the summer at least to outweigh the benefits of their competitors, and reopen their lounge area which is unfortunately closed. Not to mention their hours are a little odd, they close very early. I am happy that I was able to experience it though.
