first of all, the layout of this store is awful. so is parking. but the main reason i'm rating this store is because they stole my bottle slip money. they acknowledged it too. see, what had happened was... i was at self checkout and kroger pay want working. i gave up after several tries and i left the store. about a half hour later when i realized i left my bottle slips, i called the store and spoke to the young man who collected the bottle slips that evening. he told me i could come back and speak to a manager. he said he'd leave a note for her or whomever was there if she wasn't there. i went back to the store yesterday (the bottle slip dilemma was this past sunday) and the young man was there to confirm that he's the one who took the note. but he then told me that i came back too late to get my money. he should've told me that. and they should've gone thru the slips to confirm what i said anyway.it wasn't a lot of money but its mine and i want it.

Ms. Shirley at the self checkout is the absolute best!!! She always greets customers with a genuine smile, and she is always eager to assist. It's quite refreshing to shop where workers are happy to serve. After all, isn't that why they're hired?Keep the sun shining, Ms. Shirley. The world needs your warmth and kindness.

This is why the State of Michigan should not allow grocery store monopolies. It's 4:38 pm on Saturday and they claim to be having power issues for any new customers trying to walk in before 5pm. #ForeverMissedHillers.Note for Kroger management, Google Maps does not charge to adjust temporary store hours, quick, easy, free.BTW, how is this store a 3.5 out of 5 stars? There are more 1 & 2 star reviews than there is time to read.

Messy store with hard to find items. Ask worker if you find one and they just say they don't work that department or send you wrong place. 3 weeks in a row apple cider on sale not available and no one knew where it was.

This Kroger is tiny, has terrible produce quality and prices are not even good. For being in one of the nicer areas you’d think it’s also one of the nicer Kroger’s but it’s absolutely terrible. Totally worth the extra money to shop at Nino’s or Papa Joe’s for fresh meat and fruits/vegetables as the quality isn’t even a remote comparison

the worst kroger ever. I've received numerous negative experiences while self-checking out at this Kroger; usually from the same person. (This lady with no manners knows who she is). This time she shoved my cart onto my back as I was scanning my items. I refrained from responding back as I just wanted to get in and get out. But this time this same pos Kroger employee crossed the line. I talked w the manager later on over the phone and next time anything happens that merits an incident than I will file a police report.

Store manager (Eric) is by far the worst ever, no compassion for employees and he’s very egotistical. (Kroger) needs a open door policy, no wonder why store isn’t hitting its margin or quota. (Eric) needs to be retrained as manager and have some dignity. Manners & respect goes a long way and you can see the lack of integrity

This is Bloomfield Hills and yet this has got to be the worst Kroger in the State if not the Region. Employees are rude; store is always a mess. Produce people block you off as if that is their right to have entire isle to themselves even when customers are trying to shop for produce that is not molded or rotting. Parking lot is a hell hole. Cart people are horrible employees that don’t care if they run you over with a stack of carts. Self checkout lady with the short hair is an evil witch. Customer service, lmao. So glad there is a much better Kroger on Maple and Woodward; as well as Whole Foods and Hollywood Market close by.

This store is by far one of the worst Kroger locations in the Metro Detroit area. As soon as there is a glimmer of hope they are doing better they go right back to the same disaster.Items are priced differently depending on where you’re located in the store (bubbly water), whole sections of grocery store staples are either incorrectly placed in the cabinet or completely missing (the entire milk section), and store employees too busy removing products from the shelves for an unknown reason rather than being willing to help paying customers.Managers of Kroger, the store states it is open until 10. Don’t start closing at 9:15 while customers are still in the store! If you wanted to close at 9, CHANGE YOUR HOURS!

Finally, a very pleasant experience! Kevin was able to help get a sale price item fixed via Tom (even though the customer service counter was closed, which Tom reminded me of at least 3 separate times). Very happy they were able to help us get the situation solved.

This is the worst Kroger I’ve ever been in. And I used to go to the ones in Hazel Park and Detroit! The supply is terrible. It’s small, crowded. They never have enough employees and they usually only have two lanes open. It’s so run down. I end up in a bad mood after shopping here. They should really do something about this store since it’s in such a nice area.
