Great location, here at the Boyne Mountain Resort. We actually stayed at both, the Resort hotel and the BlueGreen Vacations resort. The room, actually a suite (Units A & B adjoining), was very nice… pleasant, clean, well decorated, cozy, etc.
Outside of check-in and the people clearing the parking lots and sidewalks of the near-constant snow, we didn’t interface either staff/services of any kind. All of those folks have been very professional and pleasant.
My only issue is with the obligatory $25 per day charge for amenities, regardless of whether you actually use any of them. Charge me IF I use your amenities, not for my mere presence on the property. … Hence the lack of a fifth star for “Service”.

Lovely resort but they just enacted a $25 a day additional fee so probably can't afford to come back. Curtains cover up heat vents in bedrooms so prop them back and leave bedroom doors open during day so bedrooms stay warmer. Bedding warm and beds comfortable. Large plates very tight fit in dishwasher, but we figured it out. Great staff and service.

Love this place. If you can make it up here. Go for it. For Bluegreen owners. You must try the over the Lake Michigan trip to Wisconsin Dells. I stayed overnight at Manistique.

We love being owners with Bluegreen. This location is possibly our favorite so far. It’s close to some of the best salmon fishing spots on the Boyne river.
Room is clean. The only thing we don’t love is the way they installed the kitchenette. It doesn’t make sense for use of the space. Super awkward.

So happy we decided to try this location. We loved our trip to Northern MI! What a beautiful state. The resort was nestled near Boyne Mountain, which looks like a lot of fun in winter if you enjoy skiing/snowboarding. During summer months, you can still take the ski lift up where they have a lounge, zip lines, walking paths, frisbee golf and the Skybridge. Down below the lift, there is a deli, candy store, gift shops, bar, and arcade. I was really surprised at all the amenities. Bluegreen's pool is great for little ones too! The staff here was very friendly and accommodating. Truly, the only negative was fruit flies in our unit. I read they are pretty bad this year...so as annoying as it was, it wasn't that big of a deal. Will definitely return to this location!!
