I have never in my life had such bad customer service as I got from this dollar general. The cashier was so rude and disrespectful he insulted me and berated me for asking for cash back and repeatedly told me “this isn’t a bank” he swore, rolled his eye, and scoffed at me also and by reading the reviews on this location seems this isn’t out of the norm for him. Don’t waste your money here

Manager of this store has no manager skills and dresses like a slob! Always insists that customers are scamming him. Maybe he should learn how to properly scan sale items into his system so they ring up correctly.
DG send your “managers” to some kind of class to learn how to properly speak to customers and dress professional! If I could rate this store a zero I would!

Geez, where do I start!? This place is always a complete mess! Huge carts of unpacked stock in isles, items thrown everywhere, dirt / dust on bottom shelves. Store is way too small, especially if they are going to have huge carts of stock in isles. Customers are on top of each other trying to squeeze down isles. I'll go out of my way to Goodrich Dollar General!

The worst site I've been in. Management needs to be replaced. The store is a disaster boxes in aisles and workers always in office.

Horrible!!! I was here last night before closing and again today the isles are just as they're we're last night. They've done nothing all day but sit in the office and talk. This place needs remodeling from management down. Shame they put all that time into remodeling and you can't even see what's in the shelves because stock is always up and down all the isles.

Ortonville Store is always filthy. Stock is generally out in boxes making it impossible to get around. I’ve lived in the area over 3 years and go regularly because of the convenience when you need something quick. I have never seen it well stocked or neat and tidy. When the candy bars on the bottom shelves are covered in dust that’s disgusting. Absolutely no reason for this. Why isn’t corporate doing something about it?

This Ortonville was trashed. Stuff all over. Only seemed to be one (very overwhelmed) employee. I thought I'd give this store another try as I had been here a free weeks ago and walked out then also .

The store was not clean, nor organized, or tidy. Way too small, seemed to be bursting at the seems with merchandise. Cashier was no where to be found, even after ringing bell on counter. They definitely need to move into a bigger building, hire more attentive staff, and keep their store clean. I won't be going back, which is sad because they really do have a wide selection of stuff.

Just wanted to make this a known fact, that Dollar General employee's have NO control over anyone's Dollar General Digitals!!! Also we have no control of the site!(As in what's in stock and whats not) so please respect everyone as we all are trying to make it threw this terrible pandemic and not scream and yell at anyone over any of that!
