We had to make the difficult decision to have our elderly kitty put to sleep recently. Our usual vet was not open on a Sunday and our kitty needed help. We did not want her suffering another 24 hours or longer.I called Banfield Vet in Brighton, and every staff member we came in contact with was calm, kind and compassionate. The minute we arrived, they immediately took us back to a room, knowing we were losing our kitty. They walked us through the process, gave us all the time we needed, and were very gentle with our kitty and our family. As awful as a situation as it was, I am glad to have found Banfield Vet.

My Niece takes all her dogs here. One dog very sick. Ran test over 7 days ago and still no response.Absolutely terrible to leave fur baby family waiting.Put the shoe on the other foot.I'm sure it wouldn't be that way.

They were good to us in the beginning. And then when my dog had a health concern They were absolutely the worst. I do not recommend taking your pet here.

Refused my friends dog 4x for services when she pays monthly to have vet vists. Refused to do blood work. Found out her dog had a tumor. She emailed Banfield cares to express her frustration and nothing was ever done seems like you guys only care about your monthly memberships and not the actual care of animals. Pathetic.

I have brought my dog Ella here for 6 years they were good in the beginning! Towards the end of Ella’s life they weren’t! She was having days were she was having neck pain and whining because of her pain I brought her in and they said everything looked fine but it wasn’t! They sent us home then we were back a day later! They kept her in a crate then said everything was good then she collapsed when they brought her out and couldn’t move they brought her out to my truck in a gurney and gave us a script for some joint shots! I brought her home and she was okay for a day then stopped eating and moving! I called Banfield and they said they were too busy and couldn’t help us! Which is ridiculous they don’t care about you or your dog in a time of need when they are in the last days of their lives! So I had to make calls to go to Commerce then they sent me to Dogwood in Farmington which I would highly recommend they were there for us every step of they way with Ella no crate and keeping her comfortable and keeping us updated before she passed a couple of days later! I will never use Banfield again nor will I walk into a store they support! They also make you pay the rest of there wellness plan which is ridiculous! I understand it says it in the contract but when you not there for there pet it’s different! So they made me pay the rest of it! My Ella sweet Ella girl passed away 9 months ago and it kills me every day she was my best friend and what Banfield did to us kills me everyday she was my everything!

I have been bringing my cat here for 15 years - LOVED Dr. Miller. Over the past 6 months we have seen several different vets, and will NEVER return. Due to doctor turnover they will no longer refill my cat's prescription until I come in and establish a relationship with ANOTHER new vet. (Even though my cat was just seen and labs drawn TWICE a couple months ago.) Money grab only at this point.

Decent vet for the very basic stuff. Emergencies? No. Availability? Very limited. The vets are very nice and qualified but it's just a very basic place.

NEVER SIGN UP FOR A WELLNESS PLAN! Not only did our dog, who's having end-of-life issues, receive poor support and came home bleeding but we were also charged >$400 to cancel our plan. I'm sure the cancelation policy is in the T&C's, but after an almost 14-year membership, this simply a slap in the face.

Absolutely NEGLIGENT. I would NOT recommend this vet to anyone. Never once heard from the vet about pertinent health info about my pet until it was far too late. Save yourself the money and heartache and go somewhere else.

We had to bring in our 21 year old kitty to say goodbye. The tech and vet were extremely kind and caring. They walked us through each step and lovingly cleaned her up for us to bring back home. They even gave us a card with her paw and nose prints. We've had a dog and two cats they Banfield has taken care of. I highly recommend their services.

I recently rescued a dog with bad teeth in need of a cleaning. I planned to sign up for an Optimum Wellness plan and was assured over the phone that it would cover the teeth cleaning as it stated on the website. I came in for a consult and they told me that even with the Wellness Plan I would still have charges "well into the thousands" for a teeth cleaning. They refused to give me a quote and said they had no idea how much it would cost until he was in surgery. I showed them the quote from my vet that was for $800 and they said that I should go back to my vet if that was the price they could offer me. I wasn't at the vet for more than 5 minutes as we only went in for the teeth consult but they still had to charge me $63.95 for a "office visit". The girl at the front desk accidentally charged me $6,395 rather than $63.95 and didn't tell me that she did so - I found out when my bank notified me. Their response was that I should stop by the bank and let them know it was a mistake rather than refunding the amount. Very unprofessional and rude I would not recommend going to this vet or signing up for their scam wellness plans.

Never see a vet ... only techs. Banfield pet medical plan is a rip-off, $50/mo for little services.

Great puppy wellness plan! Every other vet couldn't get my puppy in for over a month, they got her in right away and the monthly payment plan is amazing.

Worst experience I've had. Horrific bedside manor. I've been going there for over 6 years. The Vet and Tech both made me feel like I was Nothing short of the worst pet owner on the planet, because I wanted to treat my dog at home. My Neo, fractured his leg, non surgical. I wanted to save 65$ every three days for the duration of his 6 week recovery, by wrapping his leg in a splint myself. To which Ieven made a custom fitting ridged splint. They act as though No one other than someone with a veterinarian degree could possibly ever do the job correctly. The looks, the tone, and snarkie comments were unwarranted and unprofessional. I blame this type of bad bedside manner on management, this also reflected in the cleanliness of the rooms. Filthy, hair everywhere in the corners of the floor and under the bench seats, even blood on the cabinet and sink.I was Hesitant to write this because of the years of great service I'd experience with them But this was such a terrible display professionalism, And when they called the next day to ask how our experience was, and I asked to have a manager or supervising shift manager to call me for a discussion, I never received a phone call back, For an opportunity to explain My experience with someone who could make a change.
