Had a minor emergency as my battery died. After a AAA jumpstart I went straight to Brighton Ford for service. They fit me right in and had me on my way in short time.

This is my second time changing this review. I would go down to zero stars if possible. My vehicle was supposed to be picked up before 8am. I called at 7, Missy informed me that the valet was already on the way because my paper work was gone. I later receive a text that the driver would be at an old address in 3 minutes (7:45am), I call to give them the correct address and I am informed by Missy that the driver hasn't even left. She claimed to be in charge of PDL and wasn't even aware that I made this appointment over a week and a half ago. The driver still isn't here and it's after 8 and I just received a notification national that they won't be here until 8:30 (making me late to work). Brighton Ford does not care about your time.
Update: they showed up to take my truck at 8:20 and informed me that they don't have a vehicle for me. (I was promised a large vehicle, an expedition by Steve). I told the guys to leave, they aren't taking anything with them. Then Missy called me to tell me that they magically found a vehicle and that they will take me to work and then drop one off to me. I refused anyone driving me anywhere. So she said that someone would meet me at my work to drop off a vehicle. We shall see.

3.23.224 Ugh!! Inefficiency!!
We took one of our vehicle to the dealership yesterday and it wasn't going to be ready until today. We got a call this morning that it was ready to pick it up. When we got there, we were told it wasn't ready. Then told your vehicle is ready that another customer with the same name car isn't ready. Then they tried to charge us over $200 more than we were originally told and had to refigure our bill which turned out to be a few dollars less than originally told. And here's the worst part; they now have a surcharge for paying with a credit card. One sign said 1.75% and another 2.75% which we pointed out. They no longer have a cashier, if you were planning to pay cash.
The repair work was fine. The front line workers, not so muc and the surcharge stinks.
No longer get a phone call asking if the service went well either.

Laura Spencer, service coordinator, makes this place shine. What was a bit of a rocky experience, turned into a wonderful one. Her friendly, patient and kind nature really comes through when you speak with her. She didn't let the ball drop once. She is absolutely an asset to this establishment.

Was told oil pan gasket needed to be replaced and that was causing the leak. Had the work done for several hundred dollars. Still leaking. Then they said there is something different leaking after earlier confirming it was the oil pan gasket. Looks like I never needed the oil pan gasket replaced after all and they did an unnecessary repair. Communication with service department was poor trying to resolve it. Separately used the body shop and they were terrific to work with but didn't have a good experience with the service department.

Body shop took over one month to complete one week's worth of repair. I called for status twice only to be told that they were on hold because 1) forgot to order a part and 2) waiting on paint. They scheduled the drop off date so they can't use the excuse that they were too busy. And they quoted the work and inspected the vehicle before drop off so they can't use the excuse that they didn't know what parts and paint to order.Do NOT recommend.

I had an issue with my emissions evaporation system and Chris and Sean made sure I was thoroughly taken care of to get the issue resolved. I am so pleased with the service that I received from them. Although, on my last visit to get the issue looked at I had a less than positive experience with Missy - she didn't allow me to speak with the service tech (Chris) that I had been working with to resolve the issue and was not very kind when asked if I would be able to get a loaner if I had to leave my car. Luckily, the experience I had with Chris and Sean outshined that experience. I highly recommend them!

The place is the best!! Not only for repairs but customer care is top notch and buying from them as well! Bought a car from the 3 years ago and it's still in top notch shape! Anytime I needed to get it fixed they were on top of all of it! Great place and always recommend them for anyone buying or needs of services through them! ☝️❤️????

DO NOT TRUST THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT! I took my Explorer in for a recall fix & they told me I needed $2000 worth of suspension work. I was surprised so I got a second opinion & was told that Brighton Ford tried to pull one over on me- there is nothing wrong with my suspension! They keep posting responses saying they have tried to call me, but I left them a message last week and have not received a return call from them. Hopefully they will call me back today.Service: Steering & suspension repair
