The quality of work done on my vehicle at this location was completely unacceptable. First time I went to pick up my vehicle, they hadn't completed all the work and the work they had completed was awful. The newly painted surfaces had scratches and missing paint. Some of the scratches were deep enough to be through the paint and into the plastic. Some of the trim was newly scratched and had to be replaced again. The fenders had a tremendous amount of orange peel to the point that they looked matte. I pointed these things out to them and they took the vehicle back and said that it would all be addressed.
Two weeks later I get the call to pick it up and again the newly painted surfaces have damage and the orange peel on the fenders was not fixed. They touched up the paint damage but did nothing to fix the gouges in the plastic. To try to fix the orange peel they buffed the fenders which did nothing and is not a way to fix orange peel. After insisting again that they needed to fix it they wet sanded the fenders which helped. The paint quality everywhere they touched is poor. There is orange peel all over, there are spots where you can see masking lines, etc.
They say they stand behind their work and will fix it but I don't think they know how. I don't trust that they can fix it if they would let work this bad roll out their door after going back multiple times. Only positive part of the experience was that the receptionist was nice.

I LOVE these people!
Professional, courteous and very knowledgeable.
Unfortunately, my vehicle was totaled by my insurance company.
We have had two other cars repaired by Gerber.
They are so talented that each looked brand new after the collision repair!
Besides each member of the staff being at the top of their game… they are very kind and compassionate! I needed that…

Just picked up my Grand Cherokee repaired after a break in downtown Detroit. I would like to give a huge thank you to Megan and Grace and the rest of the reception team. The repair was done in super quick time and I know one of the colleagues drove a 60 mile round trip to pick up a part so the job could be completed before the Easter weekend. Out of nowhere, I heard something dragging beneath my SUV: I quickly realized that part of my undercarriage cover had snapped off, was bent in half, and I was dragging it. My car was clearly was not drivable. Just by chance, I pulled into Gerber Collision and Joe and his team - jumped - literally, and began repairing it. They had lifter my SUV, repaired the bent piece, and installed new clips within 15 minutes. They would not allow me to pay them for the repair, the parts - or their time.I can't thank them enough - not only for their kind deed, but also in repairing it so fast that I made it on time to pick my daughter up from school. I had a large scratch on my Jeep and took it here to get a quote to fix it. After showing the manager a picture of the damage, he came right out and buffed it! My Jeep looks good as new, and he didn’t charge me a penny. Everyone I spoke to was kind and helpful. They have my business, and they should have yours too! Highly recommend.
