Purchased a new canyon in 2017 that came with a cupon book for service discounts.was told they are good for as long as I own the vehicle. No expiration dates on cupons and now they decided they don't except anymore.

I worked with Samantha on buying my first new vehicle in a decade. She was fantastic, had great patience, and made the whole buying process enjoyable. It took less time than I remember from previous experiences and the dealership treated me well and offered a fair price. Their financing department even found a lower interest rate than I had found by shopping around, which was a great bonus. Recently, my new truck had a check engine light come on, through no fault of the dealership. I reached out to them and they got me on the schedule to get it fixed within a couple days, which is super fast. This dealership is courteous and responsive and Samantha is a blast to work with. I highly recommend them!

The service was very good, I thought I needed brakes but was actually told I didn't. They fixed some smaller problems. We needed a ride back to service to pick up my car, because I've had foot surgery and can't drive yet, my husband can't drive 2 cars home so, you get the picture. It was late on Monday when the car was ready so we scheduled a Tuesday pick up at 11am. No show by 11:30 so I called and asked to speak to my service guy, it goes to voice-mail, okay, I leave a message. By 12pm no callback, no pickup and I call and to have him paged. That's when I find out he's not in the office for training purposes. My husband has an appointment an hour away so we now schedule a pickup for Wednesday. He arrives on time and we get our car. The service guy called me and apologized for the confusion. There wasn't any confusion, he forgot to schedule the Tuesday pickup. I know this seems like a small issue, especially for a retiree, but it isn't. Its frustrating. Service everywhere has gotten worse and it would be nice if any service went smoothly from start to finish.

John was a very helpful service advisor and was super efficient in processing my oil change/tire rotation. He was polite and approachable. I suggest the dealership replace the desk chairs the service advisors sit in as there are gaping and giant rips in the seats. For what I paid for my vehicle, your staff should be equipped with decent furniture. This does not make a good impression with the customer.

Whatever you do, do not go here to purchase a used car, you'll be lied to and scammed. I bought my first car at this dealership at the beginning of August and within two weeks of ownership, I was out $2,200 because of a massive oil leak, the Rear Main Seal, and having to replace the starter motor as well. Upon agreeing to the purchase of the car, they assured me an oil change would be done along with a safety inspection, which NONE of those things took place. When those two issues arose in the beginning, I took it to multiple local master mechanics and they all said this car was not safe to be on the road and it never should’ve been sold, along with that, the car should’ve been totaled. I called the dealership and informed them of this and asked how can we fix this, and they said “they don’t know what they’re talking about, only our mechanics can make that call.” On top of those issues, they found the frame of the car was completely rusted out along with multiple holes in the frame as well. If a safety inspection had been done like they said, this would’ve been found and the car wouldn’t’ve been sold. This car is not safe to drive. As of today (10/6/23), my oil pan gasket needs replacement and the transmission is starting to go. Buying a used car that was “as is”, I knew that the car would need to be repaired, but nothing as catastrophic within weeks of ownership, let alone two months.Going further, the car came with a cracked windshield that was affecting the line of view, which Champion agreed to fix as a “We Owe You” credit, the same thing with the air compressor that was starting to go out. Turns out, they sneakily added these repairs to my loan. So, they are not the ones who paid for it, I was. With that in mind, I did get the windshield replaced, as well as the air compressor. Note, my air was working just fine when I dropped the car off for the repair. The reason the compressor needed to be replaced was because of the loud noise it had when the car was running. After the repair on the AC, it no longer works and I called the dealership to see if they can fix it and they say I have to pay for a diagnosis and the repair, even though it's under warranty. Plus the dealership says they’ll return my call and get back to me, but they never do. I would’ve said something to the service team after I picked the car up, but I was already late for work. With the "We Owe You" credit added to the other $2,200 repair, I am out at least $3,500 as it continues to go up every week in repairs.I hope that this review helps. If you want a used car that is actually safe to drive and one that is not a lemon, don’t go to this dealership. Sad to see that one of the most renowned dealerships in Michigan would do this to a customer. I will never again go to another Champion. As for the dealership, please do not respond to this review nor contact me, I’ve had enough.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read this before making your decision to buy here! We are now on our second lease with Champion. The first car went off without a problem. The second car a completely different story. After being in our new car for less than a month we started having transmission issues. I was not very happy about this but understand things happen. They “fixed” the problem only to have it occur again within a month. We are now on our fourth time having transmission issues where the car won’t even start. The car is for my wife and we have two small children. I have no faith in the vehicle and told Champion that I don’t want my wife, four year old and two year old being stranded somewhere with a new car that doesn’t work. I asked for them to get us into something different. After waiting two weeks to hear back for pricing on a new car it was nowhere in the ballpark of where our current lease is. After asking if they could to do better to make this situation right they have ghosted me and I have not heard back from sales and management has not returned my calls. Again the first transaction with the lease went great but I say businesses show their true colors when they our faced with difficult situations and how they help their customers at that time, not just when they’re trying to make a sale. EXTREMELY disappointed and won’t be returning.

I bought my 2024 Buick Envista from Brandon. Brandon and the finance department did a very good job explaining to me and my Co-Signer everything i needed to know about my car very clear. I'm very happy with my purchase and hope to buy another car from him again in the future!

So I’ve been going to this dealer for the last 5 years and have spent a lot of money there. At the time, I owned a GMC model car. I recently switched cars, Cadillac…made by GMC, and began to experience issues. After numerous times me driving 45 min away, them trying to repair my issue. As they were not able to repair my issue, and I work a lot, took my vehicle to the actual Cadillac dealer to have it repaired correctly, and repair the same issue they claimed to have fixed!! When I reached out to service associate Mike Thrush, he was very rude, cutting me off, and would not allow me to continue a complete sentence. Then in turn, rudely referred me to his manager, Benjamin. Reached out to his manager, Benjamin and never received a returned phone call. Two weeks later, receive a text about and unsatisfied survey. Wouldn’t dare fill that out…right!! I hadn’t had a bad experience before now, however this is no way to treat a returning customer and poor customer service has been executed on their part so they didn’t value me at all in the long run!! So I won’t be back and they lost a customer and several more as I had referred many! Janice is awesome!!!

My salesperson Ashley Walker was amazing. She was so thorough, patient and knowledgeable. This was the best buying a car experience that I have ever had. I’m 61 years old and have bought several new cars, so this is saying a lot. I loved how she knew anything I asked about the car, she went over everything on the car when I picked it up, as far as how everything worked. I spent a lot of time in the dealership while putting the deal together and everyone around me was so kind, friendly and helpful. All in all it was just a great experience. I absolutely love my car! Kudos to Champion GMC Buick!

I felt that my concerns were heard regarding my vehicle. I feel that the prices and repairs could have been more thoroughly discussed, as I was very surprised when I got the invoice. I did not know that my brake fluid and another fluid would be exchanged, which ended up adding a significant amount to my bill. But the treatment nor the price were not discussed until I questioned the invoice. I was expecting a bill for about $600 for the brake soaking and oil change, and it ended up being over $1100. I am not saying the other treatments were or were not necessary, it just should have been discussed. One of the concerns for my vehicle was loud brakes and my advisor discussed some options and we elected to soak the brakes vs replacing them, hoping it would work, since the brakes work, they are just loud. I was fully understanding that it might not work, but thought it was worth a try, since we could tolerate the current sound if it didn't work. The soaking seemed to work for 1 day, but now the sound is 10x worse and is unbearable. It would have been better had we not done anything, it was not discussed that the sound could be made worse. My advisor did help apply some of the cost for the soaking towards replacement, which we are grateful for.

I wish I could give more stars but the stars I am giving are literally only for how my salesman Billy made me feel comfortable. I went to Champion Buick because I had been searching for months for a vehicle in my price range and every time I kept going back and looking at the same vehicle over and over. I made the 111 mile trip to test drive this vehicle and everything seemed fine. After signing the papers my salesman handed me a key fab and told me that it had been cut for the car but that their guy had ran out of time to program it. That I could possibly do it myself if I YouTube a video on it. I got it home and did look at some videos, but ended up calling my local Buick dealership to get advice. After two failed attempts of programming it over the phone I was asked to bring it in. $384 later it was discovered it needed a new ignition coil because it was registering a key was in the ignition when there wasn’t, and the doors would not lock. Day number two of having the car, I filled it up with gas, and discovered there is a gas leak, day number 3 the check engine light came on and I pulled out my trusty scanner to discover that it needs O2 sensors replaced and possibly a new catalytic converter. Which explains why it smells like exhaust when you start it up first thing in the morning. Which these three things I can’t afford to fix right now because I had spent all my inheritance on this car and the ignition coil. On top of all of this it also needs an alignment. I had been watching this for over a month, you would have thought they would have at least had their mechanics do an alignment or change the wiper blades at some point during the time they had it, but they did not, I understand I bought it as is and could not afford to get the warranty they offered, but it’s sad that I am going to have to put thousands of dollars in to fix a car that I spent almost $10,000 to purchase.I’m disappointed that I feel as though I can’t trust the car to go any further than the grocery store 5 miles down the road. I’m disappointed that the issues with the vehicle has made me feel as though I should have just walked to work all winter for a second year and continued to pay for groceries to be delivered and just sat at home because I couldn’t go anywhere. At this moment I’m 98% sure I will not be going back to this dealership for my next vehicle as I had planned to purchase a newer vehicle in the next couple of years.

I couldn’t be more happy with every part of my experience there. Hunter is an exceptional employee. Buying a car can be very stressful and he made me feel so comfortable and was incredibly helpful. He’s now my forever car guy.

My salesman was Vince Monte to start with and then I worked with Cameron Kennedy the day I leased my Terrain as Vince was out of the office that day. They did a very terrific job. It was the first time I had experienced seeing the same quoted payment amount per month at the signing table. "No surprises" just as Cameron had told me.This paired with their friendly and helpful attitudes as well as the willingness to communicate via text during my workday helped out tremendously.

All around good experience; took way too long to get paperwork done. Took HOURS for the red tape to be cleared. Also, our window was scratched on our brand new vehicle somehow which sucked. It was replaced by this dealership but we had to drive back out there for it, which is kind of a hike from where we live. Should maybe think about a valet service and moving your paperwork to a digital format like other dealerships, e- signature, etc.Our salesperson Vince is great; recommend him for your new vehicle needs.
