I’d rather lose my car then go through the hoops this company put me through. That’s how terrible communication and scammers they are. Let’s start with my car breaking down cops called corrigan to tow my car back to there “tow yard” where I was told my insurance company could take it from SAME DAY. My tow truck arrives from my insurance company and that’s when I got news that my car was impounded and I would have to pay 350$ to get it out as well as a police release paper. I made a social media post about the situation to have a cop call me profusely apologizing and laughing at them when I told him what they said. my car was never impounded. Corrigan did also contact me to explain that my car isn’t all of a sudden impounded/never apologized and it can be released with my permission nothing else ( this convo was at 7pm ) next day goes by my insurance company once again is on the way to get the vehicle once my truck arrived, I then get a call stating I owe a balance there of 375$ that was “overnight fee”. They really wanted me to pay the mistake of a employee claiming my car was impounded and holding my vehicle from me unlawfully ? Yeah NO. The fees get waved after talking to a manger then I was told a total of 306$ for a 2 miles tow. I get to corrigan in howell for my total to come down to 286$ how is the damn price changing !? Disgusting family owned company. Grown adults who can’t communicate with eachother. Absolute joke.

***BEWARE OF THEIR DRIVER CHASE THE GUY IS A THIEF!!!!!Got a flat in the construction zone on I-96 near Kensington which wasnt the issue, but i got the vehicle stuck in the ditch as the shoulder was non-existent and after putting the spare on in the pouring rain and trying for hours to get it unstuck myself I realized that I needed a Tow truck to winch me back onto the freeway so I called my Triple A towing service who told me they would have someone out there within the hour. Waited 4 hours and after 3 more calls to Triple A i was told that if I could find someone to come out sooner they would reimburse me so I called Corrigan who had a driver come out immediately (which was odd being as they are one of the Triple A tow services in the area when Triple A supposedly couldn't find one) and by this time it was about 1a.m. and all I wanted to do was get out of there. The tow truck driver "Chase" hooked my vehicle up the snatch block winch system on the tow truck that he had to leave parked on the right lane of the freeway and began to pull me out which ended up popping my another tire on my vehicle (which to be fair really wasn't his fault considering where the vehicle was stuck.) During this there were vehicles on the freeway that were not moving over for his tow truck until the last second so as a courtesy I stood on the side of road and used a large expensive Mag-Lite style flashlight that I had to try to signal to oncoming traffic to move over and now that I needed Corrigan to give me a tow home Chase had to load my vehicle onto the flat bed and while doing so asked to borrow my flashlight (he didn't have his own??) which I was happy to do and twice on the ride home I asked him for my flashlight back which he replied that he thought he had already given it back to me (which I knew wasn't the case) and when he unloaded my vehicle I double checked but my flashlight was nowhere to be found and asked again if he could check the cab of the truck which he pretended to do then told me "Nope its not in there you probably left it on the side of the road!" which I knew was a load of b.s but by then it was 2:30 a.m and didn't feel like getting into an altercation with the crook in my parent's driveway so i just thanked him, signed the paperwork and let him drive off. The next day i even went back to the spot where my car was and searched for the flashlight for 15 minutes without finding it even though i already knew where it was (in chases backpack no doubt) . Im not sure why corrigans drivers feel the need to steal $40 flashlights from their customers and dont already have their own (maybe theyre not paid enough?) but after this experience i definetley wont be calling them for a tow anytime again in the future. I guess Chase needed the light more than I did and i just hope hes putting it too good use out there on the road and isnt stealing from anymore of Corrigans customers although i doubt that is the case since thieves usually continue to steal until they are caught.Moral of the story-No good deed goes unpunished/ dont lend your property to shady tow truck drivers and expect them to give it back!?Service: Special vehicle towing

Horrible experience overall. Aggressive, rude, generally just not helpful. I’ve never had to ask for a manager in my life.I was told constant misinformation on how to obtain my vehicle back. It was a frustrating 6 hour process.I could not get a full sentence out, I was constantly told I’m lying or a criminal. If it wasn’t for the woman at the front desk vouching for me (absolute sweetheart btw), and Sargent Montez calling their establishment; I don’t think I would’ve ever gotten my vehicle back.

Called these turkeys after my car broke down far from home, called these guys, verified that they have a contract with AAA and then they said they'd help me if I paid out of pocket and no other way.May you meet someone as predatory and heartless as you on the road, but may your kids meet them first. Curse you.

Worst and first towing place I’ve ever been to. Terrible location had a hard time finding the entrance, plus the small waiting room barley has enough space for a small family. They really didn’t help me with the whole process at all, and I ended up missing some steps and had to make two trips. Most of the workers seem like work is the only thing they are not worried about, with most of them getting distracted and going on smoke brakes. Plus for the price it seems like most of the profit isn’t being reinvested in a cleaner or more efficient working space, which really makes me question why this business is the best towers in my county?Service: Car towing

I needed to get my car towed from Fenton to Brighton. Called Corrigan as they will bill directly to farm bureau. Martha was great and got things moving quickly. When driver got to vehicle he needed insurance certificate. I was working away .. it should have been in vehicle and the driver spent time looking for me. I did manage to get a copy and text it to him. He was very patient and waited while all this was going on.In the end the job was done successfully and promptly. Great service. Thank you. looking.driver

I want to start off by saying Thank you. No one ever wants to be in a car accident, yet here I am. The people at Corrigan Towing made everything easy. From towing my vehicle to retrieving my personal items and dealing with my insurance, I could not be happier with how this experience has been. I'm sorry I do not have all of the names of the people but every driver, yard worker and all officer personnel were great.Thank you.

My brother called AAA who sent out Corrigan to tow his vehicle to the repair shop after his vehicle wouldn't start. My brother was sure the starter was bad. I did suggest to his it was probably the battery. But his lights did not dim or anything when he went to start it a number of days ago when it was really cold that day. I also suggested to his that he could change the starter himself and didn't even have to get under the truck on this particular vehicle. We are not sure if it was the Brighton or Howell location that came out. But he tried starting it and it just clicked. The tow driver suggested if he tried jump starting it. My brother said he tried that but was reluctant on even bothering. But the tow truck driver managed to convince him to give it a try with his equipment, and sure enough it started right up. Saved my brother hundreds of dollars from having not only a tow bill and a unnecessary repair bill and potentially being ripped off on a repair shop replacing a starter for a bad battery. If my brother listened to be in the first place he could have saved himself a hassle, but thankfully he had a good tow driver come out and convince him to try to jump it before just towing it.

Tow Driver Chris A. was fabulous!! Our SUV starter stopped working Saturday afternoon and we're from out of country. We called Corrigan Towing Sunday morning and Chris was on site in 20 minutes (we called CAA and waited 18 hours for an AAA tow truck that NEVER arrived). Repair shops were closed and no car rental company in town. In less than 1 hour he found us an auto repair shop with an open car rental in the next town. Without the care, help and professionalism of Chris, we would have been stuck without any transportation (public or rental) while waiting for the repair on Monday. This is an employee that showed compassion, excellent service and is a positive representative for Corrigan Towing! We are grateful for his help!Service: Car towing

Just had Mike tow my car to the dealership from my home. What an awesome experience. He was friendly, professional and so VERY thorough. He even called when he got to the dealership with the vehicle!!! In these times of struggles to find employees this is a great one that need to be recognized for his awesome job. Being a single woman I often get talked down to by car savvy people and Mike was nothing but courteous and very helpful. In a frustrating situation what a great experience.
