I ordered a entertainment console from furniture crate and the item was so damaged the delivery guys wouldn't even leave it. I had to wait a month to receive the item and to have it replaced, I would have to wait another month. I decided to cancel the order and not do business with this company in the future.

Their website says: "We're committed to offering you the best value. We guarantee the lowest prices you can find anywhere; on or off the web! We constantly check them to ensure you're getting the best deal. But if you find the same product anywhere else, simply call or email us with the store information or website where you found the lower price. We will not only match it, we'll match 110% of the difference!" However, I called with proof of purchase from another vendor and Fred said he couldn't touch that price. So, they have a "guarantee," but it isn't really a guarantee? Apparently not. It's a flat out lie. Bad business.

I would give zero stars if possible. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SITE OR ANY AFFILIATE. I ordered a table on early december that arrived mid february completely damaged. when order placed, they said 2-4 weeks for delivery. Never got a tracking number until almost 2 months later. The customer service is beyond awful & are not useful in any way. Seems like no one has any clue what is going on. They are only good at charging you. We are still in process of getting the item picked up by the company (now march!)& still haven't gotten a refund for the order that we now canceled. It has been such an awful experience.

I ordered a vanity stool from this company that they had advertised as being half off the 'listed price'. Recently, I found that Bed Bath and Beyond carries it for ten dollars less, which they have as the listed price, not discounted. Apparently, the list price that Furniture Crate posts on their website is not accurate, and adhering to truth in advertising is not their way of doing business. When I called to cancel the order, they explained that it was due to ship next week, and they would get back to me on Monday if they are able to stop the order from shipping.

I wish that I had read the reviews because I would have never accepted Sun Delivery as the carrier for our orders from FurnitureCrate.com. The first delivery, of a large wall unit, went prefectly. The guys were careful, friendly, and did their job quickly. Unfortunately, as good as that delivery went, the second one a couple of months later was horrible. And it is this one that will stick with us. The guys working that day were sullen and bordering on rude. They were running behind schedule, and rushed through our job. My husband's executive desk was not assembled correctly, drawers rub and it wasn't until my husband had time to look at it he realized that the left pedestal was installed differently from the right pedestal, resulting in a desk that is crooked and racked. For heavens' sake, the screws are installed at an angle! Of course, these idiots blew out of here so quickly that we barely had time to say goodbye, and it was after they left we noticed scratches on the desk as well. FurnitureCrate was no help in reslving this issue, neither was Sun, so my husband is spending hours trying to correct this and we may have to hire a carpenter to come in and make the final adjustments. Never again from either of these companies. The desk, BTW, is unevenly finished and even though we purchased a piece that was rated "best" in qulaity, you would never know. VERY disappointed.

I recently relocated and ordered two pieces of furniture from Furniture Crate. I have had a hand full of things to do and a lot on my plate since moving back to the states. I called to check the status and ask a few questions about the two different orders. Also had questions about the shipping company which will be delivering the furniture. I spoke with Jenna V. / Before-Delivery Customer Care Specialist / US-Mattress. Very professional and she assured me that she would track the deliveries for me and keep me updated. Of course I was very skeptical of the customer service offered but went along with the offer not fully expecting that type of service. Long story short, I received a message from Jenna within two days explaining in detail who would be delivering and all the information I would need. It was a very pleasant surprise and an unusual level of customer service. I would say this company is fortunate to have an associate who not only does their job well, but takes customer service to another level which is very rare these days.

I'm having the same issue with them. I ordered a dining set a week ago. I called to check and they still don't know when the manufacturer will ship. I didn't even get a confirmation email when I ordered but my card has been charged. We are moving into our new house so I don't know how long we'd have to sit on the couch for dinner.

We ordered two chairs and a queen sleeper over three weeks ago. Yesterday, the company sent us an email, saying they decided to stop shipping the product, as their delivery company wasn't reliable and often pieces arrived broken. Today, I see their site still offers the same chairs and sleeper, so I assume others will have a similar experience in the future. Buyer beware!

My husband and I ordered an ottoman from this company OVER 6 months ago, first let me start by saying their shipping was INCREDIBLY slow it took about 4-5 weeks to receive our ottoman, second we prepaid at the time of check-out and for a whole month+ it showed as the funds were taken out of our account. Well 6 months later I receive a call after 8 p.m. at night saying I needed to call them to settle a balance I had on my account, you can imagine my confusion as I pulled up all of my emails of confirmation and invoices I received from this company stating that my balance was PREPAID, so I pulled up my bank account statements from all months around my order date and sure enough the money was put back into our account. I called the bank to see if they could give me any explanation as to what happened and they could not pull up detailed transaction information from this far back. So that's where my frustration began to sink in, because now I was expected to pay a $400 bill that I thought was paid 6 months ago, which for some people could be a large problem if they did not have the budget for that anymore. I called the company the next morning to find out why in the world they did not collect payment at the time I ordered and what kind of company would send somebody a $400 ottoman without receiving funds, well I spoke to 2 different employees and they were both VERY rude, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service, they did not care at all for their error and could not explain to me how this error even happened except that it was a "glitch" in their system. So I asked if there was anything they could do to help us since we had to pay this money that day and they were very rude and did not seem to want to fix their error at all. In the end it really wasn't about the money, we had the money to pay for it the fact was their customer service should have been more willing to apologize for their error, or offer us some sort of gesture that would say 'sorry, please shop with our company again', which they did not say sorry even once. Bottom line is please take your money else where this company is not worth the hassle, I am not surprised to see they have such terrible reviews all over the web and I wish I would have taken the time to look before I decided to purchase my furniture through them. Not to mention, their link for reviews on their website is mysteriously broken.
