I cannot fully express how grateful I am for the excellent customer service my husband received last week at the Brighton Home Depot! At a little after 8pm On Thanksgiving Eve our well pressure tank sprung a leak! We were completely panicked because we were hosting 20 guests the next day! We realized we didn't have the right supplies So my husband headed to your store! I called because the store was scheduled to close in 15 minutes and I wasn't sure if my husband would make it in time! They were so NICE and understanding! They even stayed at least 45 minutes after closing to help him. THANK YOU so much - I am sure they wanted go home and be with their families but stayed and helped him find a solution so we could still host our family the next day. You all are the best!

I just have to voice my frustration with the store and team at your Brighton Michigan location. My son who is 18 applied for employment there about a month ago. He is high functioning special needs and has worked at Kroger the last 2.5 years. He has been looking for a change so he applied. He received an email last week scheduling an interview today at 1:00 He put together a wonderful resume, went out and got a hair cut and arrived 10 minutes early to be told to bad the position had been filled. No phone call, no email to cancel it just a waste of his time, gas, and most of all his disappointment. As a 30+ year customer "no longer" and business owner myself this is so unprofessional and should be ashamed. Guessing this won't mean much just had to make you aware of the incident and our disappointment.

Well where do I start. Purchased a dishwasher and other appliances and dishwasher didn't work, possible chip issue. Scheduled another delivery and the new one was not on the truck. Today, I have been waiting for another one, delivery between 7am and 3pm. Guess what? No show. It's now 4:30. I'm done.

Ordered a new refrigerator. It was delivered 2 days late and the delivery guys refused to remove the doors to get it into the room. I had indicated that the unit was going into a basement. Lazy, rude, worthless...had to reschedule the pickup of the old unit 10 days later. I called service... she couldn't have cared less...she made me miss the old days when the customer service people didn't speak English but at least they TRIED!

They sell "lemons" and the. tell you to take it up with the manufacturer. Finding a competent person when you call the manufacturer takes more time than it's worth. Then they tell you nothing we can do. We purchased a Maytag dishwasher that broke after two years. Motor stopped working. We purchased a new motor and the motor quit again, a year later after the first one. The technician said our steel coating was warped and dented and water is leaking into motor. Well that's not what we wanted to hear. We have no dishwasher and we wanted this one to last ten years not three. We have to get hundreds more for a new one after we spent hundreds on the motor and labor hoping it will last awhile. Maytag and Home Depot cost us thousands of dollars out of pocket and they don't care about the "lemons" they are selling. Home Depot won't help us at all and Maytag offered us $300 off a new dishwasher. I just want a new dishwasher to feel whole again and i'm not getting. screwed. Too much to ask for. Zero stars from me.

If you are considering flooring do not use this store. The delivery service cancelled 4 times..when they finally brought the wood flooring they left it in the snow refusing to carry it in the house because we had more than 2 steps. Although 74 years old, I had to carry it in the house as we needed it to be at room temperature 3 days prior installation. The company that actually installed the wood floor was excellent. A few days ago I heard a women complaining about this store regarding counter tops.

I recently purchased wood flooring from the Brighton Home Depot. The delivery group canceled 4 times after we remained home waiting. Finally they arrive only to leave the flooring in the cold and snow blocking the driveway. They refused to carry items up more than 2 steps and will not use a back door. Service was rude and uncaring. I had to carry all the flooring in myself at 74 years old as the installers needed wood room temperature for 3 days. I did call the store explained situation and they did remove delivery charge. Make sure you know the delivery rules.

Do not buy appliances from Home Depot, especially the Brighton, Michigan store!! Unfortunately, I purchased a clothes washer and dryer set. I bought high-end Maytag products, and I specifically requested a washer with an agitator. I even supplied the model number and a picture before pointing out the washer in the store to the salesperson. During delivery, I received a different washer without an agitator. When I complained to the store manager on duty I was told there has been a backlog of trying to obtain washers with agitator. The salesman did a bait and switch in the system without telling me what he did! The delivery service they use to deliver and install the appliances is awful! They did a test run on the washer and did not wait to see if it was actually working. I had to pay a plumber an additional $200.00 to properly set up my washer. The dryer did not get installed and I have been waiting over six weeks with rescheduling after rescheduling because of errors by the delivery service. All I receive from my complaints is "sorry we have to reschedule because no one submitted a work order. Nothing but runarounds by the store staff and management. I was even failed by Corporation resolution staff John who promised me a resolution of install on August 5th, which never happened again!!! I am DONE with Home Depot's inefficiencies and don't care attitude.

Store might be OK for little, off-the-shelf purchases, but stay away from their "professional services" at al cost! We worked with the Home Depot in-store kitchen design team for nearly a year planning the perfect kitchen for our new construction dream home. We ordered nearly $30,000 of cabinetry based on this design and based on their projected timelines. Unfortunately, not only were the delivery timelines missed time after time, but the cabinetry received was not what was ordered. As we had sold our other home and had to complete construction to avoid becoming homeless, we paid our finish carpenter thousands of dollars extra to make on-the-spot adjustments and fabricate custom pieces just to assemble a kitchen that would pass inspection and allow us to obtain our Certificate Of Occupancy. It was unclear whether the mistakes had happened at the vendor, or within the ordering system/process, and the in-store manager was, at first, very apologetic and tried to re-order the cabinets that had come in misconfigured. As time passed and some of the re-ordered pieces came into their inventory, they refused to handle the installation and wanted us to pay to rip out the old/wrong cabinets and install the new ones. Eventually, corporate office got involved and instructed the manager to stop all communications with us. We eventually filed a complaint with the BBB, in response to which corporate sent out a form-letter offering us $1000. Their response was anything but sincere as they had not inquired into any of the details, nor did they even reference the correct product/order. I tried reaching out to their "Resolution Expeditor" numerous but all my emails/messages went unanswered. So now, due to the utter incompetence of the HD in-store team, and the indifference of their corporate offices, we're out thousands of extra dollars and, perhaps even more importantly, our new kitchen is a far cry from what we planned/envisioned.

I was in the area running some errands and needed a new shower head and a few things for the garden so I popped in. First off, they have a beautiful garden section. Everything, even in to July, was in great condition. Healthy, blooming, and beautiful. A lot of the time things start to look a little sad by this time of the summer but everything looked great. Everyone was super helpful, too. I was looking for some animal proof chicken wire and I asked the guy in the garden center and he directed me to where to find it indoors in the fencing area. I ran inside and easily found the fencing section, along with a great selection of shower heads. Self checkout was easy. The store was clean and well organized and everyone I encountered was super friendly. Not a bad visit at all!

I order a dishwasher and it got delivered and did not work. I notified them within hours that it didn’t turn on. They sent a repair guy who no call no showed me so i requested a refund. They stated it had to go through the vender and the vender has no showed me twice now on picking up the dishwasher. Their service is horrible and everybody is unprofessional. I was told multiple times today they were running behind and would call me within the hour for pickup and now they are closed and I cannot reach anybody. I will never deal with this company again. Best Buy had my new one delivered and installed in 4 days meanwhile I’m still waiting a month for my broken one from Home Depot to get picked up so I can be refunded.
