We been looking for a good range for our family. Think this is definitely going to be it. Our first time out was a great experience. Very friendly staff, extremely helpful and willing to answer questions. I like they had a wood burner going to warm up. Very clean inside and out. Very good prices on everything we purchased. I would highly recommend this range to anyone

A safe and well maintained location with a 100, 50, and 25 yard pistol/rifle range. An area for Skeet and Trap, and a large Sporting Clay set up with 8 stations, each with 3 levels of difficulty. We spent 3 hours Saturdays morning shooting about 75 clays each, and thetotall cost came out to be less than $40 each. Defiently fun!

The Island Lake Shooting Range is a fantastic place for clay shooting. Beautiful courses, friendly staff, and well-maintained equipment.I had the pleasure of learning clay shooting from James Chambers, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. James is a true expert in the field, and his passion for shotgun sports is evident in his teaching. He possesses a remarkable ability to break down complex techniques into easy-to-understand steps, making the learning process enjoyable and effective. James’ patience, clear instructions, and keen eye for improvement helped me progress significantly in a short time. Thanks to his guidance, I’ve not only improved my shooting skills but also developed a deeper appreciation for the sport. If you’re looking for an exceptional clay shooting instructor, James is the one to choose!

Participated at their skeet and trap course the other day, everyone was extremely professional and friendly . Very clean and well maintained course. Staff went out of their way to help a new shooter, total appreciated their patience and their advice.

My first time shooting clay was awesome. Both 5-stand and sporting clays were great experiences with good targets, difficulty, and beautiful scenery. They even provided bottled water during the summer heat at the sporting clays. Their employee Holly greeted us when we showed up, then pulled for us, and even gave us tips and advice for shooting, all of which made for a very pleasant experience. All in all, it was a wonderful outing, and I can't wait to come back!

Holly was awesome! This whole establishment is professional, the staff are friendly and everything was clean kept. They even had bottled waters out near the sporting clays for you. I can't wait to come back!

A little late on this review but I have to say it! Absolutely incredible! The management and staff are incredibly awesome and professional. After going through the initial steps to getting the lane, I met Tony who truly did a wonderful job explaining the rules and getting me set up. It was my first time here and I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you for the great experience!!

One of my favorite sporting clay ranges. Great people, nicely laid courses and very well thought patterns. There is a course for every clay shooter whether you are a beginner, an intermediate or an advanced wing shooter.

First time coming to this range, lady at the front desk was very nice. There was an older fella who kicked us out because of a the “weather” at 6 and they close at 8. As soon as they kicked us out all the employees went home and the weather cleared up 20 min later

Was probably one of the worst experiences that I have had at a shooting range. Terrible customer service and some of the laziest workers I have met. They kicked us out with 2 hours left of shooting time because the workers both wanted to go home instead of doing the job they are paid to do.

Expensive. Poor customer service. Go to Pontiac Lake. Better people, better range, and way cheaper.

Ed P. is my trap and sporting clays trainer, he is super groovy, knows everything about the mind-body challenges of shooting a shotgun and is just plain AWESOME, the Obi-Wan Kenobi of trainers (it's mostly in your head!), I highly recommend him. Jim C.? I didn't even pay for instruction but he went out of his way to help me when I was struggling with hard right clays. Man, I watched Jim shoot skeet today, wow, he crushed every clay, you're learning from the best with these guys!
