This location has a clean interior with friendly staff. There were plenty of bathing suits to choose from for my entire family and great graphic tees. Welcomed us into the store upon entry and quick at the checkout. The bathrooms were adequate.

Stopped by after shopping at Kohl's hoping for better luck at JCP. So disappointed to find out they don't open until 11:00 am. It's 10:40. That is a ridiculously late time for a retail store to open. One more shopper drove up and left. They apparently agree with me.

I was disappointed over hearing a couple of retail sales people talking about someone that had applied for a job there. And I believe she was in for her second interview. One person seemed to like her, but the other seemed a little jealous because the girl she felt was bragging about being able to sign language, and stated she would draw customers in to the rewards program. Myself, I thought it all sounded good! But it sounded like it came down to them not hiring her because of jealousy. Also they were talking about how they don't really check for rewards when they run the register because they feel you get it yourself in your e-mail.
Then when I went to pay for my things, the lady at the register said she checked to see if I had any rewards and she said I didn't. I showed her on my phone it says I had 2 of them, which I was right. Added up to $20.00 off. Very disappointed they lie about it or don't even really check, I suppose.
Then I went back to return the clothing I had bought and the lady at the returns tells me she can get me a larger size without even asking me why I was returning them!!! I did let her know that they fit. I should have told her how rude she was and I found clothing I liked better at a different store.
Just a little disappointed with how things went today.

Went in on Sunday to return an item. I came in and some lady working at the cash register was rude as hell. Not even a foot out the door and she said you need to go to the back to return that item. I said okay, where in the back is it? She just kept saying, all the way in the back. Just go all the way to the back. It would have taken three seconds to just say, it’s located in the back of the building. You will hit a wall, you can either go right or left. You will find it by blank and blank. Instead she kept saying all the way in the back. By the time I actually found where I needed to go, I was already pissed off. The two ladies in the back were like, at least you found it. Shove off. This location has some of the rudest employees I have ever met! I was going to buy some items, but after that experience I just wanted to leave. I also agree with what the other people are saying about hours. It is absolutely ridiculous to only be open 11am-7pm. If you work none traditional hours, which most people around here do, because of all the hospitals in the area. You really can’t shop here at all. There’s been multiple times I had to rush to Ann Arbor to buy things before they close. Before you jump on and say, there’s always online. Yes, there is always online. However, trying things on and buying them at the store is a lot different then buying them online and then having to return them. I also bought a pair of shoes here and the sides ripped in less than a month I had them. Never had that issue with Khols.

Compared to woman's department there was very limited men's. Maybe I missed it but didn't see a clearance section either.The checkout staff was very nice and helpful with my transaction at least.

So unfortunate that this JCP is so badly managed. Tonya should not be a part of the management team, let alone a part of a customer serviced based company. They are SO understaffed that they didn’t even have an associate working in the Jewlery department DURING CHRISTMAS TIME. Whoever runs this store must not care. I feel for all of the associates who are trying their best. Upper management should really do something about this store. Would give zero stars if I could.

I don't understand why they close at 7 when all the rest of the stores in the strip closes at 9 or 10pm. They have good sales but the employees are very rude and unhelpful. I was looking to purchase a engagement ring and was told but the store manager no one was there to show me the rings sense there not on display for some reason. I recently went there on a friday started walking to towards the door and some skinny snotty lady walked out before I entered and told me the store the store closes in 10 minutes it was 650 pm on Friday and again I was going in to spend money on a blender and set of cookware. I took my business elsewhere my advice is to stay open later for people that work till 530 or 6 that want to spend money. Also tell your employees to start being more helpful.
