Went there for the last time, last evening. Empty shelves, fruit covered in flies. Lots of isles blocked by employees with giant boxes of things. Just a horrible experience.

I have been shopping at Kroger for years. I had a positive great experience as I was in the freezer department. A young lady named Reagan helped me find the frozen potatoes I needed for party this Sunday.
I was welcomed by Matt who remembered me & waved as he was bagging the groceries. I will always go through his lane. Also a shout out to the young man Alexander whom was very pleasant. He said it was his first day on the job.
Kroger should be proud to have such young helpful friendly staff!!! All 3 exceptional!

Marie is a gem—Kroger, hold onto her!
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to make an exception for Marie. This woman is the definition of what great customer service should look like. From the second I walked into her lane, she greeted me like I was a regular—even though I’m not—and somehow made a routine grocery run feel like a moment out of a feel-good movie.
Marie is warm, attentive, and fast without ever making you feel rushed. She cracked a few jokes, asked genuine questions, and treated every customer like they mattered. I saw it happen with the people ahead of me and behind me too—this isn’t an act, it’s just who she is.
If Kroger has any kind of system in place that rewards employees for friendliness, helpfulness, or being a ray of sunshine in people’s day, then Marie should be absolutely maxed out on points. Heck, make up a new tier and name it after her while you’re at it. “The Marie Standard” has a nice ring to it.
In a world where customer service can feel like a lost art, Marie is living proof that it’s still alive and thriving. She’s the kind of person that not only makes you want to come back to Kroger but makes you look forward to it.
Give that woman a raise, a plaque, or at the very least, a mountain of friendly points. She’s earned it.

Two times I bought the fish right out of the window and it had like a soapy taste to it, which means it was starting to go bad and I paid top dollar for it. I just won't ever buy it there anymore. I'm not saying it's all bad, but that's been my experience. It was perch and cod.

I use to be a frequent Kroger shopper for groceries, pharmacy and gas. After years of frustration, I've taken my business elsewhere.
Despite never sharing my account, Kroger continues to combine my account information with other family members. This has happened repeatedly over the years, even after I've spoken with the store front desk, called customer service, and sent emails to resolve it. Every time I think it's fixed, a few months later it happens again.
Worse, this account merging has affected my personalized coupons. I spend significantly more than the other family members my account gets combined with, but somehow they receive the coupons while I get nothing. That sends a clear message: my business isn't valued.
As if that weren't enough, when I used Kroger as my pharmacy, my family members received messages about my prescription. People who are not on my account and have no business receiving private medical information. That felt like a serious privacy violation.
Now I shop and fill my prescription elsewhere. I can confidently say I save more money, I get personalized coupons, and most importantly, I'm treated like a customer who matters.
I will continue encouraging people to shop anywhere but Kroger.

Staff at self checkout stands so close they're almost touching me. It's very creepy. They're within arms reach and act like that's not my personal space. Bad vibes in this store always.

My wife was at the store a couple days ago and this nice kid Reid offered to help her load her groceries into her car. She offered him a tip and he declined multiple times. He was very nice and polite

I’ve had consistently bad experiences at the Kroger deli counter in Brighton — not once, but three separate times. There’s a particular woman who works there who is incredibly unfriendly, and completely unprofessional. She clearly has no idea how to treat customers with respect. Her attitude is bitter and unpleasant, and she acts like doing her job is a favor to the public.
Someone like that should not be working in a customer-facing role. It’s unacceptable, and it reflects very poorly on the store. Management seriously needs to address this issue.

Normally we really like this Kroger, but my visit today was very unsettling...as I was checking out through u scan there was a heavier set lady with blonde hair standing with the u scan associate..looked like she was a manager, she was complaining very loudly how much she hated her job and about how she can't stand customers...very unprofessional and I hope she turns her attitude around or she won't even have a job

MANAGMENT WAS AWFUL! We went to the Starbucks and the employee was new(2nd day on the job alone at the register) and he wasn't sure how to put one of the two drinks in the computer. That was fine ofcourse it is his second day, the other woman working didn't know either, she seemed relatively new. We waited for our drinks and after about 10 minutes i looked and she wasn't able to find the recipe. Again seeing as she and the other guy were new this was all management. They were not properly trained before getting sent on their own. We weren't planning on being there for 15 minutes so we wanted to void our transaction, to do so we needed management, after 15 MORE MINUTES we had to get the front end management, who helped us. One of the OTHER EMPLYEES came because TYLER WAS IN THE BREAKROOM AND DIDNT WANT TO DO HIS JOB. I don't care if had a long day sitting 15ft from us and not wanting to get up is INSANE. I worked at kroger in pinckney and it was UNHEARD OF for a manger to be so neglectful to every aspect of their job.

The store overall isn't bad but I do wish the employees at the deli counter would learn how to wrap the pre sliced meats without covering up the zip. It's a shame I have to go home and put it in my own Ziploc bag because you have to destroy theirs just to get into it.
