After a stressful move and a long week of trying to find a place to live we finally returned the truck. It was on a Sunday that we returned it, and I called the company to ask what to do if they were closed. The woman told me to park the truck and leave the keys in the box. The next day I received a call from a female who was not friendly. She stated that we returned the truck late, it had a chip in it, and we didn't leave paperwork. I tried to explain all of this. Chip was there when we rented it...the company took a picture of it, we were given permission from the Traverse City company to have the truck for an extra week, and we didn't know we had to leave the paperwork. The woman stated "She would have to look into all of this" as if she didn't believe me. SHe was not friendly at all and the conversation started off like I was a kid in trouble in school. My husband and I are both professionals who work hard and had a very stressful move with 4 kids, a dog, and bunny in the car. A friendly voice would have been better customer service.
