It is high-quality paint that I really enjoy working with. Every time I come into the Brighton store location, it's extremely clean and organized. The staff is always friendly and conversational. It is so much better than the big box store experience of feeling crowded or trying to find or get the attention of someone who can help. I also love that I have a record of all the paint, colors, and finishes I've purchased in the past. Extremely helpful. High-quality all around!

The manager, Joe, is super helpful! We needed advice on painting some interior doors, and had struggled with some paint that was too glossy. He took care of us, helping us find the perfect paint for our situation, and even threw in some sandpaper and rollers. What a guy.

Posted hours says "open" but no one is answering phone and door is locked. When they are open the employees are very helpful.

Called the store to find out what color and sheen paint my Mom purchased a couple years ago. They couldn't find it using her phone number, so I asked if they could look it up using her email address, the associate said they had no idea how to do that. I called the store in Clarkston and they looked it up using an email address immediately. Train your staff on how to use your system.

The Brighton store is clean, friendly and competent. I have needed color matching services and haven't had good results at other stores. The Brighton store has been consistently great for this service multiple times. They have professional and knowledgeable staff.

I had the worst experience at this store. First off i have worked in customer service for 20 years and i understand a employee to client relationship very well . I also am very understanding when a employee may be having a bad day. But i can not understand, or accept rudeness to a potential customer. I was sent over from the Hartland location, which is top notch on providing exceptional customer service, and knowledge. They were out of stock, and the Brighton store had my product. I was imeaditley greeted with a attitude / aggressive behavior from Adam. I explained what i was looking for, and told him my paint color. He replied in a snotty aggressive tone, WHICH ONE !!!!!!... i was confused to what he was talking about. I thought he was referring to the base. I told him i didn't know, but it was on file from my previous purchase. He said in another tone, WE CAN'T LOOK THAT UP.. ? Excuse me Hartland did?. Then after i figured out what he was referring to , it came to checking out So i told him the first name of the business, he replied in a nasty tone which one!!! And also first name what!!!!. I then told him I'm not quite sure, i was sent on the errand thinking he would read off a few because hartland did.... and he just continued to give me attitude. So finally i had enough, and i told him i would call Hartland because they obviously will help me and he can't. Immeaditley Hartland looked up the account, and gave me the number so they wouldn't give me any more grief. Luckily when i went back in the store Adam was tied up with another guest, and i got helped by the other associate. While standing there i witnessed his rudeness with another customer, who simply wanted the same paint he bought before. Telling him which one!!!!. The customer was confused on which base he used. He asked him to look it up and Adam replied, we dont do that.... YOU.... NEED TO TELL ME WHICH ONE!!!.. . And on and on he went. Hopefully any one reading this will do themselves a favor and either 1 go to Hartland, or 2 avoid this guy all together, and also hopefully his manager retrains this guy not only on the system, but also on customer service 101.

The salesman chris who helped me out was wonderful and gave me the perfect paint for my job. The paint is wonderful and my job is finally complete and looks fantastic! The store was very clean offered sanitizing stations which is wonderful. The color area was a little empty and messy when I asked the gentleman he just they would make sure to address the problem. Overall great experience and would highly recommend!

Bought a gallon of oil based primer for all wood work trim 6 months ago; came back from winter in Florida in April opened can to continue and about half gallon was unusable went back to store they said there was nothing they could do although agreed it was not usable so we bought another gallon. We buy all of our paint there and was not happy that they said nothing they would do to make it right.
