When I tell my family, "I'm going to the good Target" they know I'm spending a few extra minutes to drive on up to Brighton to hit the Target here because, my friends, it IS good. First off, they stock way more things than any of the other Targets in the area that I go to. Whenever I'm looking for a specific item on the app and it's sold out at the stores around me, Brighton always has it in stock for pick up. Last Christmas I walked around and was amazed by how much more holiday decor they had available compared to other shops I had been to. Anyone who knows me knows I get a little holiday decor crazy so I definitely filled an entire cart with goodies. Their shelves are just so much more interesting than the other locations I go to. The grocery section is also pretty great and filled with way more than I typically see at my local Target. Recently I stopped in on a Sunday night and will say it was a bit cleaned out but that may have just been post-weekend shoppers. Any time I've gone mid-week it's been super stocked. This location also has a mini-Disney store inside which is only one of a handful in the state. It's not huge but they carry some things you'll only see in these mini-stores so it's worth browsing through if you have the time. My only complaint is, given the size of the store and how many people come through, they should have more than 4 self-check out kiosks. When I was there last they only had one register open so the self-check out line was pretty long. That would definitely ease things up a bit if they added some more.

I went to Target with my best friend and we walked around the store nonchalantly (that was a lie, we acted like three-year-olds pumped up on sugar tehe. Starbucks didn't help if you were wondering.) and came across some Halloween stuff. We found some $5 Halloween gingerbread houses and adopted them to take home. My friend felt like being nice and dropped her change by the red Target balls on the sidewalk for a small human to find. Anyway, we took these to her car and we realized that we'd probably need some more icing rather than the 'icing' that they gave us. So we went back into the store. Fun. Anywaayyyy we managed to get our lives back together and get some more icing. We got back to my friend's house and made them. We wasted $5. I could've bought some socks with that. SOCKS! So disappointed in today's garage gingerbread houses. I'm done.

One employee can make a difference in a customer's life especially making shopping at this Target a great experience. This is not my ordinary review on Yelp, I usually review dining establishments not retail establishment stores but today I had to make an exception. The woman employee cleaning and sanitizing the carts did a great job. The gal finding our pick-up purchase as it was divided into two areas of the store did a great job. Everyone else were busy at work but one person made a big difference for me. I happen to be a member of the brotherhood and sisterhood of Christmas, some people refer me as one of Santa's helpers,, others Santa Claus. in the Christmas shopping area of the store, I somehow caught the attention of Nick( who would have guessed that he is Nick and I help St. Nick, small world!) with me being a St. Nick when I'm helping the big guy in the red suit out. Since I've worked at KMart ages ago I recognized that Nick seemed to be going outside his responsible area of getting rid of boxes and restocking shelves to offer to help me and simply going above and beyond his responsibilities at Target. With his kind warm and , authentic smile, he cheerfully asked me if I was finding everything that I needed and if he could help me out. I had a college flashback how I loved helping others with the blue light special and offered to help the akMart shoppers when I worked there. In ou brief encounter, I knew Nick was an exceptional employee. Though I didn't need help, Nick brought a level of professional excellence and great training that indeed assured me that whoever he will encounter at Target would get a 5 star effort to make things right. I explained that I was a Santa helper and I showed him my photo in the big red suit. His laughter and joy meeting me simply added to my respect for his role making this Target a huge success.. I thanked him for his courtesy and his effort to make my shopping adventure a wonderful one. He disappeared to finish his hard work. I pray the manager followed through with my request. I asked her to radio Nick as I left the store to reaffirm that he was indeed on Santa's good list. I know moral between Thanksgiving and Christmas can be affected and can be stressful on employees to meet the demands of this shopping season. A kind word or recognition of thanks from one's boss echoed from a customer like me over the air waves can make a difference in that young man's life. I am so glad I got to shop at the Target today. I met many great employees Santa met a young man who unselfishly giving us care, hope and reinforcing our faith in our younger generation. Thank you Nick for blessing me today. May you have many wonderful Christmases to come and may Target keep training these wonderful employees. Merry Christmas! You definitely were on TARGET today!

I've found myself shopping at Target more due to curbside pickup and great customer service. They actually back the stuff they sell. A phone cord broke and they refunded the $, even though it was 3 months later, how refreshing .

Store is always clean and organized. They also are 1 of only 25 stores in the US that now have a "Disney Store" inside! Yes you heard that right 1/25! The Disney section carries items you can't find anywhere including beautiful little girl dresses that are quite elaborate not the cheaply dress up dresses (although they have those as well). They do have a Starbucks as well.

We consistently have difficulty with this store for two reasons - 1. long checkout lines and 2. inability to find help. I'm used to better service at Target stores but this one apparently has some issues. Today, I attempted to use the self-checkout lanes (they only have four) and waited in line (Tuesday morning) for five minutes and then made the mistake of buying a bottle of wine which added time to my experience due to the lack of staff to scan my id. And the woman who helped me walked away from another customer needing help. I spent more time in line than shopping. On other occasions we had trouble finding people to help. BTW, what's with the scanning ID thing? No other stores do so I expect it's just another attempt by Target to gather data. Annoying. Have written this store off as a loss. No need to go there again.

Need to open up more checkout lanes when it gets busy. They have removed many of the cart return lanes so you have to walk a long way to return a cart.

The Target in Brighton, MI is amazing. Every time I've been there, the staff has been friendly, kind and so helpful. One of the nicest Targets I have ever been to, and I've been to Targets all over the country
