A good place to go. They encourage you, but don't push you to purchase their preferred brands of dog food etc., but will respect your preferred approach. They've always treated my dogs well.

They are professional and actually care about your pet. I would recommend this vet over any other vet.

I really debated even sharing this experience but I feel it's necessary.Originally I had planned on getting my cat spayed and all of my animals exams to get them started on a flea and tick prevention.Upon setting the scheduled date for our cat spay which I took off work to get her to and from we were called about 2 days prior letting us know they could no longer do it that day and would have to move it out later. Then after her spay and getting our animals checked out and on flea medicine to our surprise 2 of the medications were empty. We were able to pick up 1 of them but then were told we needed to contact the manufacturer and I could buy more but at the time did not have extra money to put toward extra medicine because I received empty ones.We contacted the manufacturer and got it handled but now we were on the month where we would need a refill, which I'd much rather get it on chewy but still needed the prescription. We called on a Wednesday and sat on hold not being helped. Then on Friday where we requested the prescription and was called back saying we had to speak with a manager but she was not available. Then I called Saturday and was told managers do not work on weekends and there was no way to get my refill and couldn't be given a reason as to why. So Monday comes and I received a missed call from Melissa to which I replied to and upon asking questions about the refills it seems like she didn't even look at my chart as she had to ask if my dogs were in the same weight bracket and tried to rush the interaction.I asked what size the packages came in like 1 month, 3 month, or 6 and if it was cheaper to get more.. she replied with "I don't care what you get". I opted to get 3 months for each animal, keep in mind I've spent hundreds here and I'm about to spend a bunch more on 12 packages on flea and tick for my animals and she asks where I'd like to pick up.. I said Brighton, where is the other location? She said "hartland, but we think in the future you should seek vet services elsewhere" I just responded by saying we plan to and definitely have no intention on going back there.. her response was "yeah, we seen your review".My honest 1/5 star ? review.Do not recommend.

Do not let this business fool you into believing that lasting your cats claws off is any less painful than traditional declaw. There is no ethical form of declaw unless medically necessary. Please rethink your decision to provide declaw services. If you are a customer, even if you are not considering declawing your cats, please consider choosing an ethical veterinarian who does not perform these inhumane services.

I've been going to T&C for over 25 years. Wonderful vets and techs. They have always been so diligent and caring, with all of our dogs. I recommend them over and over to anyone that asks.

I can not give less than 1 star? The short of it...they wanted to charge me for fluids my cat did not get. $30 for upto 250ml...ok, Robbery there and I accepted it. Charge me and not administer it DEFINITELY NOT gonna fly. But when I bring it to your attention you get rude and talk louder than me and stomp off. Then the "manager" tells me your 12# cat received 75ml of sub q fluids and I tell you it is impossible because the cat was only out of the room for 3 minutes...heck no! Then you tell me I can accept a $10 credit or not get my meds you feel my cat needs. DONE! Won't ever go back. I am not some fly by night person who doesn't know 10 ml sub q fluids from 75 ml.

Our pup was suffering from severe nausea and ataxia and needed immediate ER services. Thank goodness for Towne and Country. They were able to see us within the half hour on an early Sunday morning. Staff was friendly and concerned. Dr. Perkins was knowledgeable, kind, and listened to my thoughts on the situation. He was thorough in his examination and didn’t order tests that weren’t necessary. Thank you!

This used to be such a great place. Been taking my pets there for er 12 years. Unfortunately not the case anymore. They answer the phone “I’m putting you on hold”. No hello. No thank you for calling. Sent my daughter to pick up special food my puppy needed. They sold her a prescription my dog didn’t needed. When I called to say this was wrong they told me “it’s not refundable have a nice day and hung up”. I went in to vet furious that I’m being scammed to pay for something my dog doesn’t need. Bill the manager told me too bad his policy is not refundable. Beware of what you are sold here!!! The medicine they told me my dog need over the phone … refusing to let me speak to the vet we had just seen the day before was the wrong medicine anyhow. I took her took a vet that actually ran tests and diagnosed her with a specific problem requiring three different medications. They made a mistake. They refuse to own up to it. Disgusted. What a scam.

I took my pet in and they were diagnosed with GI stasis. They did subcutaneous fluids and gave her meloxicam 1 ml. The medication box states for dogs only. My pet seemed to be moving more and I didn’t think much of it, thinking it may be helping. Within 1 hour or so she was falling over unable to hop or lift her head. She hates being lifted and she laid there with no reaction for an hour or more. She then started seizing and died in my arms. I called the vet and all they had to say is, “we didn’t cause that.” And “There’s no way it was our fault.” 0 stars. With how many terrible reviews there are here they really shouldn’t be in business anymore.

If i could leave 0 stars i would. I run a rescue and my fosters own long time cat would have died if we had not had my vet intervien. Many lbs lost on short amount of time they called him healthy and refused to run blood work at request of payer nor suggested x-ray.Afte clear blood work at different vet and then X-ray he was found to have a blockage. Fluids and lactose saved his life. Town and country shows no empathy for the lack of care and attention their patient clearly NEEDED. This could have resulted in the loss of a VERY MUCH LOVED family member!! Im amazed at the refusal to run the most basic tests that could have saved lots of misery for this cat and the family that watched his decline with much pain and sadness.SHAMEFUL

I took my Serval cat to an ER appointment. It was an hour before I saw anyone. An ER visit cost more so I feel it should have been much quicker. The vet didn't seem confident in anything she said. I'm hoping it was bad people skills. The kitten had already had a broken pelvis at 9 weeks. She's 16 weeks now. She fell and is now limping on a swollen leg. I suggested X-rays because the vet didn't. She just stood there looking at me. I stated I'd like to try to get them without sedation, but if it was necessary absolutely do it. They brought her back with an X-ray of her foot and wrist. That was it. She said they couldn't get anymore because she was giving them trouble. I asked about sedating her and getting more X-rays. The vet hesitantly said no as if she wasn't sure. She said to try pain meds for a couple days. I asked again about sedating and getting them now. Again she hesitantly said no and just kept looking at me. I had to ask if we were finished. Any interaction with her was very awkward. Today the leg is even worse. Now I will need to pay Again to get a second opinion. Come to find out they close at 7pm. I got in my car at 7:01pm. It seems like she didn't want to get more X-rays because she wanted to go home. Very disappointed and out a lot of money. Donna & Akira

Great Vet hospital. The staff are all super sweet & accommodating. We took our cat there for years & now we have a new puppy whose been there a few times. I highly recommend this Vet Hospital. They have offices in both Brighton & Hartland.
