For context: I was on a series of medication that had very specific timing on when I could pick it up every month (system called iPledge). When that time period is over, they will not give me the medication. The incompetence of the pharmacy staff caused my course of meds to be interrupted multiple times because they didn't fill my script on time. Due to the constant issues filling my script, my doctor CANCELLED my treatment. So I wasted over 5 months and hundreds of dollars on these meds and gas from having to drive in circles - all for no result because the pharmacy kept screwing up. In all those months I was only ever able to pick up my meds with no issues ONCE. Every other time it was a headache because they never ordered the medication, it wasn't ready when they said it was, or their staff had no idea how the iPledge system works (??), so they were always running around like chickens with no heads. The final straw was when I called 3 times in one day starting around 12 to see when my script would be filled, because they hadn't filled it for TWO DAYS and this day was my LAST pickup day. What do they do? Tell me "it will be ready in an hour and we will call you". It in fact was not ready (for SEVEN HOURS) and every time I called I got the same response, and no, they never did call me when it actually was ready. I get a text from CVS at 7 pm that my script is ready for pick up...However, I don't live near the pharmacy, so I couldn't make it there before they close at 8! I call the next day to see if they could make an exception and I can pick my stuff up, they say "Oh yeah it's fine the Pharmacist said you can come get it". So I waste even more gas and drive to CVS, but when I get there they won't give me the meds. Cool.So thank you to the pharmacy for impeding on my healthcare I guess.

Been here many times, helpful staff, pharmacy helps a lot with questions you may have.4 stars cause if there’s a power outage in the area they’ll probably be closed for a few days. Nothings perfect, but if you have a script or shipment delivered here it can be really inconvenient.

I love CVS and visit weekly. Both my daughter and son- in-law had their first jobs there. I enjoy the coupons and pay annually for my $10 a month discount plus 20% off CVS brands. The only thing I no longer use is the pharmacy because of my fixed income.

I have been trying to find the right pharmacy for me the last 6 months. This CVS in Brownstown is the best in this area for customer service. I have been having issues with my medication getting filled and a pharmacy tech that answered the phone was able to explain everything to me so I could understand what was going on. They always go above and beyond to make sure their customers understand their medications and ensure safety in their patients. I appreciate that as an aspiring nurse ?

unable to speak to pharmacy, unable to speak to anyone on the phone, constant runaround on phone questions that lead to nothing but irritation. don't waste your time calling.

Came through the drive thru 12/16/21 at 650pm. Desperately needing my prescription. Was told they no longer except my insurance. Could not get my prescription. The next morning I transfer my prescription somewhere else. I then get a text from cvs saying my prescription is ready for pickup.. I call them and they say my prescription is ready and they do take my insurance. When asked why I was told my insurance wasn't excepted the answer I was given was "I don't know". I will not go back to CVS!

As I’m at the photo booth picking my pictures and yes I spent and hour and half editing and getting ready to be done had over 400 pictures to print for graduation.. and than get booted! Mind you never asked if I’d like a chair, spending close to $150 on prints and Nothing!! Used the photo online and went to reload another 100 and got bottled so came to the store and did same thing. No apology no hey what can I do to help. Just yeah you have to start over nothing saved!! Don’t go here and waste your time!! Lost a daily customer and extra money for photo booth service!!

This is the worst pharmacy in the world. If you want to get misinformed, want to be given the wrong prescription, or have three or four days to explain something simple to the pharmacy employees, this pharmacy is for you. If you want to interface with courteous, well trained, professional employees, find another CVS to fill your prescriptions. This pharmacy is right out of the movie, Jeepers Creepers....but the pharmacy is much more scarier than the movie. BEWARE!!!!!!!!

Just left surgery, was given Tylenol #3 which may run $7. CVS required my private insurance and refused to fill it until I gave it to them. If I'm paying in cash for the prescription, why would you refuse to fill it without giving my private insurance? I left CVS before because they would charge $15 for a $7 prescription and would not do the cash price. Just pay attention with CVS, look up the GoodRX.com price before you pay their total. Be vigilant because they didn't tell me, I had to figure it out after months of being overcharged.
