My wife had a fall and hurt her leg. I took her to the Henry Ford Health Center - Brownstown emergency room. X-rays revealed she had a hairline fracture of her tibia. Since Henry Ford Health System is not in our network we needed to get her x-rays to a Beaumont doctor. My wife called Henry Ford Health Center - Brownstown and asked the procedure for picking up x-rays. Since my wife is in a wheelchair she asked if I (her husband) could pick up the x-rays. They said that is okay, just bring my wife's driver's license and a note. I went to Henry Ford Health Center - Brownstown and asked for my wife's x-rays. They said they could not give them to me. She had to come in person to pick them up. I explained that my wife called 20 minutes earlier and the person who answered the phone said bring her driver's license and a note. They still would not give me her x-rays. So, I have to take my wife in a wheelchair back to Henry Ford Health Center - Brownstown to pick up her x-rays herself. If this is the procedure, fine. Don't tell me one thing on the phone and 20 minutes later say something different. There is a definite lack of professionalism and training at this facility among the non-medical personnel. My advice is to go somewhere else if you want competent service.

I’ve Had A Great Experience. Wait Staff Amazing

Amazing care and team. Doctors listened and were great. Did the best they could but didn’t have the equipment to check for a blood clot in an arm so we were transferred to the Wyandotte location. That’s when our experience went from great to awful. I’d highly recommend the browns town location for any non blood clot conditions but DO NOT GO TO WYANDOTTE if they transfer you. We ended up being treated awful there and it took 12 hours to get care. There were literally even patients escaping and being tackled by the Wyandotte staff. And I witness numerous other problems with the Wyandotte location (mainly with their staff member Kelly H and the security guard rookie) as well steer clear of there or drive the distance to be transferred else where.

had 2 recent visits. 1/3/2020 and the following day, 1/4/2020. my 18 yr old son presented with headaches, fatigue, swollen and puffy eyes, sensitivity to light, and a general feeling of being ill. Dr looked in his eyes, asked some questions and said it's an allergy and gave him a Zyrtec. When I asked about doing a blood test, she said the only thing that would show would be white blood cell count. I said I was concerned because my son plays junior hockey in Canada and I

this place is a joke and seemed like the staff were all intoxicated. From the nurse who led me to room forgetting to do something as simple as sitting the bed up which she'd probably remember to do if she wasn't high as a kite to the nurse "of 20 years" who runs the medicine cart into wall so hard the vile of medicine flies across room then can't even hold latex glove without dropping it,like ok if you can't grip a glove you think im going to let you stick a needle in me. Completely wasted my time and actually left in more pain than I was in when I arrived.. what a joke, I was treated like a drug addict. Will never go back

Boy do i have a history with this place. I refuse to go to Henry Ford hospitals because of this place. My first negative encounter with this place was about 10 years ago when i was 9 years old and broke my arm. The ER doctor on the floor had attempted and failed to re-break my arm right away. Imagine being a kid already freaked out, crying, and in pain. Then you have this grown man bending on your wrist trying to break it again while not sedated. I needed surgery to fix it. What in the hell was he thinking? My second negative experience was 4 years ago when my lung collapsed completely. They almost sent me home because one of the nurses had canceled my chest x-ray! She thought i was fine because I was laughing around with my dad. They needed to stick a chest tube in me before they could transport me. Well, they put in a tube that was too big. I couldn't even sit up by myself without yelling in pain. I would rather get teeth pulled than go through that again. I ended up needing surgery because the chest tube Henry Ford put in kept leaking. It's rare for your lung to collapse twice within a month but mine did because of the faulty chest tube. I advise against coming here for real emergencies.
