Hy's Cider Mill is a very nice, no frills apple orchard and cider mill. It is a great place for an afternoon with the family. The trees are labeled for easy picking, with multiple types of apples like Fuji and golden delicious that are very juicy, sweet, and of great quality. There is a lot of space to pick, with bountiful fruit and minimal bug markings. A tractor takes visitors to the farther picking areas, and wagons are available to rent. The store sells many different items from pickles and honey to delicious, fresh cider and hot, excellent cinnamon donuts. There is often a BBQ food truck. The facilities are clean, the line moves quickly, and it is a fun, highly recommended experience.
It’s our third time to this place. We always go to Hy’s for apple. We usually store two full bags in garage and they are good till Christmas! This year we went there later, but still Fuji and golden delicious are very juicy and sweet!
