Discount tire doesn't sell used tires anymore... plus, their wait time was 90 minutes minimum and stood in line for 30 minutes...waiting. meh'

They basically wont touch anthing that isnt bone stock. Came in for a rotation only to wait 30 min and be told they wont do it. Lady waitinf for a spare to be installed while I was there wad also being pressured unto purchasing a tire because they wouldnt install her spare to drive 5 min. Down the road to get home. Ill look elsewhere frim now on. Tbey used to be a good company not sure what happend. Now all they do is quote liability and refuse to work on vehicles unless they are stock with stock rims. I have 20" rims with spacers. They come off and go on the same way stock rims do. O well, just one more chain store that is going to fall victim to closing their doors due to not working towards the interest of the customer base. Just ask Circuit City. Lowes, Sears, ect how that worked out for them.....

I cannot thank Aaron enough for what he did for me. He's an absolute amazing person and he deserves the recognition. When I say nobody has done anything this nice for me I mean it. 10/10 he's an exceptional person. I will definitely be back to this location to get more tires this is probably the best tire shop around Genesee county. The workers are very helpful and always go the extra mile for you without you even asking. Great service I was in and out in a decent amount of time. This discount location is the best one around Genesee county in my experience. I can't speak for other locations because I've only had tires out on at this location. Definitely recommend this location. Service is excellent.

I am totally impressed with the level of professionalism here. I went to discount tire about 8 months ago in the Troy area, and did not have a good experience, so I was hesitant to go to a Discount Tire shop again. I came in with a flat tire and knew I'd probably need two new tires. I encountered Jasiri K. He had the 2nd tire brought in because they only had 1. He explained exactly how long it would take, what they would do, and what the warranty covered. As I watched him interact with customers while waiting, he did that consistently with every customer. He answered the phone immediately when he wasn't talking with a customer, while other associates milled around till they figured they should answer it.
He is truly an asset to your business and is the reason I would come back to Discount Tire.

Five weeks ago I called the Discount Tire on Court Street in Burton. I was in need of two front tires for my 2014 Chevy Cruze LTZ RS. Size 225/45R18's. I couldn't seem to get those size tires from Walmart. I don't like ordering tires online, paying for them and having them delivered to the store. Not comfortable with that process. So that is when I called and asked the Discount Tire desk clerk for the least expensive 225/45R18's. He said $91 each plus mounting & balancing. They close at 6:00pm. Another service tech I spoke with said to still come on in even if after closing hours. There is a tactic for the tech to say that no doubt. Anyway when I arrived it was just after 6:00pm. They were still working on three other customer's cars. I wanted the $91 dollar tires. This other yahoo worker I spoke with right at the store entrance and counter desk. Well he said they have only one $91 dollar Century tire. I am in need of two. He inspected my tires and said I actually need four tires. What a liar. He just wanted to get a higher commission at my expense. I wish I knew what that worker's name is. So I can directly report him to the corporate headquarters. He then proceeds to persuade and push me to go with the $128 dollar tires omg!!! Taking total advantage of me. He said the total would be $761. Oh crap. I was there for only two tires. I should have left and gone elsewhere but the two front tires had very little tread. I had a need for tires. Then he began to push me to do a my Synchrony bank credit card specifically for Discount Tire. Unbelievable these pushy sales guys. I said "that is too much and I am not comfortable paying almost $800 for four tires omg. He said "let me see what I can do and bring the total price down. He got it to down to $667. I still did not want to pay that amount. But on the other hand I need the two front tires now. Pressure! I decided to have him run a credit app on me. And see how much I qualify for. I ended up qualifying for $800. Good grief. I decided to go with it. It is a 6 month promotional discount: no interest for 6 months. Pay it off within 6 months > zero interest. My main point here is that stinking high pressure tire sales guy took advantage of my vulnerability. I wish I had his name. These workers are trained to be like this by corporate. I'm leaving this Google review to warn other customers not to get trapped into a my Synchrony credit card. And the high pressure workers pushing more expensive tires. It is sickening how many front desk clerks and technicians do this practice. I'm saving other customers a bunch of headaches and avoid too much out of pocket cost. Discount Tire is sure no discount. Need to change the name to Non Discount Tire & Sales, period. Next time I buy tires I will not put up with those high pressure sales guys. I surely won't be going back to Discount Tire based on the terrible customer service I received

Appointment was for 11:15 for a tire rotation, was told it would be 45mins to 1 hour. It's 12:33 and still not in the bay yet. If your going to take appointments, you should try to be close to the appt time. Smh
