This review is to recognize an employee. She helped me at the return/ pick up counter. Went and checked for more pillows and got me one. Handled my return pick up and new purchase. Just all around perfect! Then as I was leaving I saw her waving at the door and she had my phone!!
This one’s a good one keep her .. at minimum give her a raise!! Polite, not fake personality !
I believe the other clerk said she was a manager.
Most these days do the minimum.

Thank you Paige !!!! I came in after a long shift,to return an item I bought online, and in my exhausted haze, I forgot my phone she saved it,also she tried to look for me ,she was the most helpful and sweetest person who went way above and beyond. Thank you!!!! ?

We went to Courtland jc Penny for photos. The last day this location was open for this service. Main store is still open. May other times, our experience was enjoyable with the manager and others. The photographer we had on 3.2.24 was poor. Rushing our session, unlike the Manger. There were very few props on hand, so we brought our own. Very few props used by the photographer because she had her own generic, unoriginal ideas. The picture clicker said it was her last day as she was retiring. If I knew she was at flint township location I would stop spending money there for pictures. Rude and pushy!

My experience yesterday and the day before were really disappointing. My mom, son and myself were buying a cart full of stuff. We get everything rang up and paid with a check, the check did not go through although I knew there was more than enough in the account. No one apologize that the payment wasn’t going through, and acted it was our fault. The girl that helped us was nice but an older lady pretended to be a manager, the older gentleman the real manager came and did nothing but say we can’t accept your check. No apology nothing. So we had them hold our stuff and brought cash incase the check didn’t go through. We went to the bank and showed them the printout we received and they said they never seen it before, they said we shouldn’t have any problems writing a check. Tried paying with a check again same problem. No one apologized again, they assumed we didn’t have the money to pay. We brought cash incase the same thing happened. I don’t normally write reviews but I was so disappointed with how the staff treated us, I don’t want to even shop here. We had a situation at kohl’s recently and they apologized and gave us an extra 30% for the inconvenience. 2 managers helped us and the customer service was great! JCPenney customer service was horrible. Although the JCPenney store is closer than kohl’s. What store do you think I will go to and recommend others to go to???

prices are OK. selection was limited with signs telling you more is available online. ?♀️ didn't find what I was looking for but the clearance racks are still fun to look through

I would like to take a moment to recognize your sales associate at your Burton location name Tracey C. She was sensational! My son & I stopped in to look for suits for his upcoming winter dance, Tracey went above & beyond to help us find the right Suits in his size, she was very friendly, thoughtful, caring, knowledgeable & extremely helpful, My 16 year old said to me wow mom she took her time & actually helped us we never have had that kind of help at a store before, He was absolutely right ! Tracey C was absolutely amazing! I wanted to leave this review in hopes management sees this ! I hope they know what kind of employee they have. Thank you Tracey C for all your help !
