Just left this VOA and will not return! I have been hitting many different resale shops looking for Christmas decorations because, this is the season and a lot of place won't pit out decorations unless it's the season. Anyhow, anything worth buying was marked "NOT FOR SALE". Isn't that the point of the business? Shouldn't you want to sell it to make money for the charities that you supposedly support? Once the season is over, most people aren't going to buy, so you'll either be stuck selling it for less or storing it until next year! UNREAL!!!!!

I bought 2 fuljifilm instax mini cameras both still in boxes and they charged me $20 EACH for them. They were behind the counter and I take them home and BOTH of them are broken!! All sales are final , so I’m out $40. I don’t get how they can charge prices like that for things they don’t even know that works?? They don’t test the product. If I could throw these cameras back, I totally would. I have learned my lesson. I was a loyal customer, now I won’t be returning.

Used to love this store but has been going downhill with the overpriced items. Some prices are more than the store. Just don't visit as much. Plus a lot of broken stuff on shelves

Not bad, can find some good deals sometimes. Mens pants are a little sparse but otherwise a good shopping experience

Utterly disgusted! I have been a patron of this location since it first opened and throughout the years. However, in recent months, the prices have become so egregious that I can no longer support VOA! I am not certain who is determining the price points and if they’ve lost sight of who their customer is, but $15 for a used fast fashion brand dress is insane! I even saw some priced at $25.99 USED! I was so flabbergasted that I started speaking to myself out loud, very loud, because I could not believe what I was witnessing. I have not even noticed this level of pricing in some of the more curated thrift stores in affluent areas. VOA do yourselves a favor and start pricing items, uniformly and stop picking and choosing what an item is going to be priced based on the brand, which you do not do a good job at and/or if it has tags still attached. These items are donated and although I understand, you have employees as well as other overhead cost, for you to take donated items and price them so much so that your common customer cannot even afford to purchase clothing is absolutely disgustingly insane! Do better!

I have been going here for years and the past couple years the prices have skyrocketed!!! $69.99 for a pair of jeans??? Are they crazy? People donate their items for free and they wanna price things so high!

I had to change my review from 4 stars to 2 stars and that's being generous. The prices have gone insane. Broken candle holders, knick knacks, and more that literally belong in the trash were $8+. Kids clothing for over $4, used and dingy is unacceptable...especially you can get it new for $4.50-5 at Walmart and target. They're worth less than $2 at the most. Kids books are mostly ripped. The store now has a section dedicated to glassware and similar items up front where I'm seeing "vintage" glass pieces with missing lids and such or cracks in them for over $50. You guys are a thrift shop, not antique dealers and resellers. I'm assuming part of the 50%+ increase in prices has to do with resellers or at least partially. They offer discounts on certain colors tags daily however they pull 99% of those colors off of the racks so essentially the discount doesn't even exist.Bed sheets and throw blankets used to be $4 and under. They're now $10/15 for USED items.I do understand making money to pay employees and for the programs. But you're also asking people to round up their change to donate..when you do this, THEY write it off on their taxes so be aware in case that's something you don't agree with.I can go 3 months without visiting, walk in and see the same items for sale from the last visit. Not sure if people just aren't donating as much or if it's because prices are completely out of control.I will say, the store has become cleaner and more organized than the past years. There is a new rewards program too where you get points that turn into money for the store. Hopefully that actually becomes worth it.
