“Kathleen, the loan officer at this location, and Janel, the branch manager, are real gems.
Kathleen has helped me immensely with financial counseling, and I am at a point where I feel confident in my finances. In ways I did not even think of, Kathleen was able to condense problems during a harder time, and get me to this point.
Janel has always been helpful in the interactions I’ve had with her throughout the years. I have applied for two loans with her, one during harder times, and one more recent. Both times were smooth and easy: likewise my experiences with Kathleen.
While I love this location, I do wish there was a location closer to the original branch I joined at (Ann St). I would definitely visit this branch for my financial counseling and loan needs, due to relationship. But I would love something closer to the original Ann St. Branch. Or at least becoming apart of the co-op network of shared branches!”

“I want to let everyone know about the amazing service and genuine kindness and willingness to help from the staff... in particular, Anita. (I am so sorry if I mis-spelled your name) - My father passed away last November, and my grandmother recently a few months ago... I have been catching up payments on things and she was so warm towards me the last time. Today I went in again with another teller and Anita saw me, remembered me from the last time, asked how I was, and when the hold times on the phone were taking longer than expected, she threw on an extra headset to help even though she was not the original person helping me with today's visit.
This kind of sincere effort truly deserves to be recognized in every manner, because it is this decency that seems to be more elusive to find each day. Anita, thank you - thank you to everyone at the LMCU 44th street location. I waited for about 45mins there while on hold (to no fault of anyone) waiting for another department authorization (busy Saturday) but never realized the time until I got back to my car because of how much I was noticing the staff's efforts to try and make my experience smoother and quicker - in particular Anita's.
Anita, thank you for the compassionate energy, which I assure you I could feel and I appreciate how genuine it is.”

“I've been a member for a couple of years now. Yesterday I called to inquire about a loan. I was skeptical because of my past credit history. Let's face it covid created a lote of credit issues for many of us. I did have a clear title to my truck, in hand to use as collateral. Long story short, not only did they help me achieve what I was trying to accomplish, but also helped me, get the last 3 things on my credit paid off, that's been haunting me. So thsnk you bloom.The main reason for my review is a young lady by the name of Alexxus. I'm blown away with her passion for costumer service. You can tell when someone is just putting in there time and collecting a check. Not this young lady! She has a genuine care to help you. Very personal but keeping professional boundaries. I'm very pleased to see that not all of our younger generation has lost... respect, morals and values, how about just, good ole common sense. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed and appreciate my experience with Alexxus. Even if bloom wouldn't have been able to help me, I still would have written this review. Everyone wants to focus on the negative, that in many cases the good goes unheard. I personally would give this young lady 10 stars. If you have loan needs and are not unreasonable with what you are trying to accomplish, I high recommend calling and asking for Alexxus.Alexxus, thank you so much! The young man seemed to have difficulty understanding my request. After I repeated myself three times, I decided to go inside. A young lady named Courtney assisted me promptly and was very friendly. Courtney exemplifies good customer service. We'll done, Courtney!!!”

“While I was away on vacation last week, unfortunately, I misplaced my debit card the day before we left to come back home. I went to the bank once we arrived home, and at the first branch I went to, their card machine was down. After numerous attempts to make me a new card, they called over to a nearby branch and let me know that their card machine was working. Perfect – I went on my way! I got to the next branch (metro), and apparently, it was a whole company-wide system glitch, so no one’s card machines were running. I was about to leave, and one of the tellers (I am SO sorry I forgot her name!) said, “Wait! We just got an email that the glitch has been fixed! I can make you a new debit card!” I was so excited and grateful (because I was planning to go home for a few hours and go back later that afternoon). The teller made my card quickly and professionally, and was as kind as they come. Addressing me by name, asking how my day was going between lulls, and apologizing for the initial experience with the card machine. She gave me my card, I thanked her for her great customer service and help, and I was sent on my way. Starving, I ran across the street to grab a quick bite, and when I went to pay… my brand-new card was declined…Luckily, I had cash, so I paid and ran right back to the bank. But still, a little snag in my day. I walked in, and the same teller smiled at me and said, “Well, well, welcome back!” Right there, she put me in a decent mood even though I was annoyed that I had to return. I told her my card declined, and I was curious why that was. She did some research on her end, and with no reason as to why, she then ended up having to call Customer Care. While she was doing that, she offered me a spot in their waiting area, told me I could grab a water or make a coffee, and that she would check in soon. While I didn’t need a beverage, she was still so warm and welcoming that I couldn’t even be upset. She followed through and did what she said she would do, and checked in on me, saying it shouldn’t be too much longer. When she was finished talking with Customer Care (IT), there was another glitch. When my new card was made, it showed an error (even so small that she wouldn’t have even caught it the first time around). I then waited for yet another card to be made. Before I could even get the new card in my hand, the teller said, “I want to test this card first to ensure it works properly. While you have been so patient and pleasant, I am sure you don’t want to come back a third time.” She had me go to the ATM in the entrance, and sure enough, it worked! I thanked her many times, praised her again for her readiness to help, and thanked her for keeping me happy even in a very impatient time.”

This location is currently undergoing a remodel but that hasn't stopped the staff from doing an excellent job. This location is between Aldi and a car store, across the street from Meijer. It is handicap and wheelchair accessible and also features a drive-thru.”

“I had to get a wire transfer done late on a Friday afternoon. The recipient did not feel it could be done by close of business, and I would have to return the next day. This would have involved a major inconvenience for everyone. However, I explained the situation to Maria P, and she was able to expedite the wire transfer, and I was done just prior to close of business. Great service !”
