Nice clean place. Good equipment, sauna, showers, lockers.I went here for PT with great results, and continued with a membership after my PT was completed.I recommend if you’re in the Keweenaw!!:)5*

Hi, I just paid $45 to work out here for the next month. You guys aren’t open on Sunday’s?? Are you kidding me?? That’s really poor service. All the other fitness places are open today. You guys can do a better job serving the community. Most people do not work on Sundays and it is a perfect day to work out. Whoever is in Charge of this place needs to do a better job. I was totally assuming this would be open daily. I have higher standards apparently for a fitness center and what you guys can provide.

After two years of being closed to the general public due to the pandemic I came in on a Saturday morning (to avoid crowds). I wore my mask to check in (which the sole employee didn't know how to do). I went to the treadmill with my mask on but dropped it below my face when I started running. (I'm vaccinated of course)There where three other people there, all thoroughly social distanced. By the time I was done there were none. I went to lift weights and after about five minutes I was interrupted by being told to put my mask on. I was not happy about it but I complied without comment. She kept talking so I had to stop again, take my headphones out, so she could tell me how she worked out there too and wore a mask and didn't like it. (She was obese and could barely walk.) Also, when there actually was other people there they weren't wearing masks either.Anyway, at that point I determined this trip to the gym was not going to be an effective way to deal with stress so I went back to the locker room. Unsurprisingly the sauna was "closed until further notice".I started working out at home when the pandemic started but was really excited to finally go to an actual gym. Having done so; I wouldn't even bother again.I was a vaccine skeptic but got it out of a vague sense of civic duty, but mostly to get the simple pleasures of living in a society back. Apparently, we're not there yet and the only time I've been sick in the last two years was about 45 minutes after the second jab. This experience has solidified my decision to skip the booster....and I'm a dang lib ffs!

Post hospitalization for, extremely painful cervical CPPD left me unable to turn my head from side to side...I'm now able to do 90' left and right with little to no discomfort... Excellent physical therapist, thanks Aspirus...

After I broke my leg, the physiotherapists helped me transition from not being able to walk to being able to walk three or more miles in a surprisingly short period of time. They have so many years experience and the entire staff works as a harmonious team. I don't know that the right mind set to get well when I started there but they turned me around with their encouragement and answering abundant questions. I owe them so much. It is important to do what they tell you to do outside of visits if you want to get better. It is a clean place and gym is not too crowded.

Used to be a great gym. Lately it hasn't been so great. They recently “phased out†their towel service, leaving members the choice to either bring their own towel or use a small hand towel. The showers have been out of soap/shampoo for around two weeks now. Sure do miss the convenience of being able to shower after a workout!
