Calumet Mercantile & General is a very nice, large, and cute gift store in a historic town. It is full of wonderful variety, with tons of local products, cool stuff, and a great selection of T-shirts and sweatshirts. There is truly something for everyone, whether a gift, a little something for yourself, or sweets. The store is famous for its phenomenal homemade fudge, described as easily the best and most delicious, with flavors like peanut butter explosion. They also have all kinds of candy and chocolate, with great taffy choices. The staff are all so kind, friendly, helpful, and eager, offering great recommendations with a clear love and passion for what they do and the town. It is a wonderful store and a tradition for many.

This store has a little of everything. It is well merchandised with delicious handmade fudge. We took home some cozy socks and four handmade fudge pecan caramel turtles. Instead of chocolate on top, they have homemade fudge. They are delicious
