Ever since the new owners took over this place has done a complete 360. The office is clean and the young lady behind the counter has been amazing to work with. Within my 2nd visit I was on a first name basis with the owner and office manager. Im a huge fan of supporting small business so an amazing experience paired with amazing quality material and service will ensure A beautiful business relationship. Did I mention their prices are extremely competitive?

New owners have not only picked up at the height of what canton topsoil once was. But they’ve even improved on what was already great customer service. The office is cleaner than ever, even smells good and has cold water for people who want one. It’s truly impressive had you ever saw the previous state of that office. Friendly knowledgeable customer service. If there is any questions that cannot be answered on the spot? The new owner will be fast in providing the answers. Prices are extremely competitive with a better in stock selection than anyone else in the metro area. Every color of mulch , decorative stone, step material, and endless variety of pavers. Nice organized yard makes selection easy, especially if you send your customers over to pick their product out themselves. And they will not interfere with your pricing process. Overall this makes it very easy to get your job or project moving along and or complete. I honestly do recommend Canton topsoil to anyone with landscaping needs. I wish every vendor I deal with in my line of work was as honest, competent, competitive, friendly, caring , and prompt. And with everything too. price quotes or delivery service, getting something in stock for you. They operate in way that all business should, it’s truly something that you don’t see much anymore. Thank you Canton Topsoil for so many pleasant experiences with hopefully many more to come.

I bought mulch for my house and they were pretty quick with the delivery and really nice quality and good price ! I would highly recommend this place for fresh and clean mulch.

Same day delivery, cheapest prices and cheapest delivery around, good quality products. The woman who takes phone orders is great to deal with and their driver is hilarous. Will be my go to for bulk orders from now on.

If I were you I'd stay away from this business for your stone needs. I went in 7/31/2024 and ordered 6yds of 21A limestone to top our driveway to a new pole barn we are starting to build. The driver shows up and backs in raises his dump and dumps 6yds of crushed garbage in my drive. Concrete and ashfault with chunks of brick in it. It smells like it was reclaimed from a trucking repair yard. Big long pieces of metal wire from the Concrete. The material was from dust to over 4in. Driver tried to tell me it was what I ordered and it would turn white when it dries. I go back up to Canton topsoil to see what we could do about it. The lady there starts with she undercharged me so best they would do is knock 10 dollars off my next orders delivery charge. There are too many places around Belleville to get stone to put up with this kind of treatment. Her loss, our project will require just over 75yds of stone. All I asked her to do was bill me the difference between what they dumped and what I ordered and bring my stone. Guess that was too much to do to make it right.

Excellent service from T’won (not sure I’m spelling his name right), very knowledgeable and helpful and told funny stories. Paul the manager was also great. Very happy with the delivery of our rocks and dirt and T’won helped us spread some of the rocks and dirt exactly as we needed it. Great outcome in our garden and cheaper than most big box stores. Will definitely be coming back.
