During my recent stay at the Comfort Suites on Haggerty Road in Canton, I noticed a blend of pros and cons. The hotel's location is convenient, nestled between Detroit and Ann Arbor, and offers amenities like free Wi-Fi, parking, and an indoor pool. However, the hotel shows signs of wear and could use some updates.The rooms, equipped with basic kitchenette facilities and air conditioning, were comfortable. Yet, it's clear that the hotel's maintenance isn't top-notch. Some areas, like the elevator, felt outdated and slightly neglected. The cleanliness was inconsistent; while some areas were well-kept, others, like carpets and public spaces, could have been cleaner.The staff's service was a mixed experience. Some were helpful, but others seemed less engaged. The breakfast varied in quality, and some maintenance were noted.In conclusion, while the Comfort Suites in Canton offers the basics at a reasonable price and a great location, it falls short in terms of upkeep and consistent service quality.

Absolute Calm and Clean...Super Spacious rooms...and everything you wanna have for a few days of stay......Everything around a stone's throw away...... I complemented the polite owner of this place last night and had a best thank you with a beautiful hearty smile from the Gentleman.. .. Recommended.

Room claimed to be a suite.No couch. No desk chair.No light over the kitchen area other than a feeble light from the microwave.Utensils stored in a bucket under the sink.Spent Monday night through Friday night and the room was not cleaned.

Unfriendly service. Day 2 of a three night stay we were told they don’t clean the room or offer fresh towels unless you ask. Desk manager says they haven’t done that since Covid. The website says you can opt out. We didn’t opt out and hurriedly left in the morning when the cleaning crews were across the hall as we thought we would be cleaned. When we returned at 8pm in the evening we had to go to Desk and request towels. Room average , thermostat not right as 63 degrees we were sweating. Fairly clean though. Service awful thoughRooms: Average. Shower needed to be updated , and caulked. Just rough. Furnishings old and tired.Noteworthy details: Pool closed. Filthy water.

Stayed a couple of times at all three of these hotels in the past year and I have to say something bad change about four months ago. Honestly between comfort or Baymont it's worth spending the extra fifty plus a night to go next door.. whatever changed they should bring back the oldSafety: Staff doesn't seem to care about guest anymore... Very hospitable and accommodating, friendly staff and a nice room for a very good price I had no complaints during my stay here and was even able to get a later check out time. It's right in the center of town as well so easy access to all the good places to eat.

After a long day of being stranded I was greeted by such amazing staff specifically Jordan at the front desk. She was so nice and helpful! I I’ll definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel for the price. Room was clean! That's the bottom line! My only complaint would be to just touch up a few surfaces with some paint and new caulk. Our bathroom door was made of cardboard. Holes in the back of it and whomever painted it, did not prep the surface correctly. Paint peeling off, mold in the caulking around the bathtub. You guys should seriously spend $5 worth of paint and caulking on every room and this would be a really nice hotel with a 5 star review. Our friends room was the same way. I will be back though.

Stay elsewhere- Room door didn't close and latch easily, and I think our room was not secured one day because of that.- There was no sofa in our room. One wing backed chair for us to share.- There was no housekeeping service, no removal of garbage, no fresh towels, not enough soap to last a three night stay.- Housekeeping staff didn't speak English, so we had difficulty requesting supplies.- The hair drier didn't work.- The fireplace didn't heat, and was loud.- There was hardly any food available for breakfast on the first day.

It was a worst experience ever. I booked the hotel for three nights. There was no hot water in shower or sink. Rooms were stinky and carpets were dirty. Electricity went out the evening of the very first day. There was no breakfast in the morning because there was no electricity. I booked another Comfort Suites near Airport the very next morning and cancelled the next two days with them and gave the room keys back. Hotel management still charged for the three nights on my credit card. The hotel manager was never available whenever I called. I also opened a case with Choice Hotels Group Guest Services but no resolution.Rooms: Dirty and stinky rooms

Extremely disappointed. The pictures are very deceiving. For almost half the price I could have stayed at La Quinta In.The bathroom is dated. The paint is damaged. The breakfast is poor. No fruit no oatmeal, no peanut butter etc....I can't believe I paid $150 when they have nothing more to offer than cheaper hotel.

When I checked in the hotel, I was having issues on my phone trying to get reservation. Christine at the front desk was very helpful with getting my reservation taken care of. Christine even offered for me to use her phone or internet. Christine was very knowledgeable about the area and things to do. Great stay and if I am back in the area I will stay again.

Everyone is Awesome.. Special shout out to Veronica! This young lady is always polite. Keeps the lobby clean.. Quick with check in and issues just a noticeable Hard worker!!! Thanks! Rooms are very spacious and clean! Breakfast is Hot including Eggs and sausage.. very close to Highways and airport. Enough food variety to please Anyone.. They Also have a Indoor pool and workout room!!!

DO NOT RESERVE OVER THE PHONE. I was told rooms where available and made a reservation. Money was taken off my account only to get there and be told by some lady with an attitude who wouldn't even bother looking in the computer to confirm my reservation "Oh the lady made an error, No ones even checked out yet". I leave only to get a phone call at 10pm like "Hey where are you? There's rooms available. ???3 days later still waiting on my money to be refunded.
