I would give 0 stars if possible! This company made me pay an extra $600 but it had to be cash or they wouldn't take my furniture. When I called to book I over estimated the amount of boxes and furniture and when they came to load up I had less items than quoted for.
I was supposed to be given 30 days of free storage and they would not honor that so I had to arrange to have it dropped off at a friends warehouse. After I started unpacking the furniture I had a very expensive mirror that was completely shattered. I reached out on MULTIPLE occasions to the company with no response. It has been a year and a half and still this company has ghosted me! I would never recommend them to anyone. and plan to report them!

I did the work to get a quote, decided it was too high for what I could do on my own, so I didn’t book. I never spoke to a person, never emailed them, and never gave them the impression I was going to book with them.
After I didn’t answer any of their MULTIPLE generic marketing emails (none of which I had ever asked for or responded to), they called me four times within roughly 30 minutes with no caller ID. When I sent it to voicemail, they refused to leave a voicemail and just kept calling until I picked up. Because there was no caller ID, I couldn’t block it and move on. They basically spammed my phone until I picked up.

Called and Richard came out the next day to look over our items and give us a quote for moving.
I needed a move into storage and then a move out of storage. Over the course of the next week, I received 3 different estimates from Richard ranging from $7,400 to $9,600....he continually said that they had new software that was glitching and giving different prices. After the 3rd quote, I said I wanted to confirm and book with DMS. He called me back later that day saying the scheduler was out of town for a week and I should probably book with another company. Just a crazy situation and they put me in a bind just a couple of weeks before I had to be out of my house.

Lost a number of my items during the move, driver was unable to locate the items when we asked. He reassured us that we can file a claim for missing items in the next 90-days. The company flat out refused to reimburse for items, asking for proof of things which went missing. How do you prove things are missing when they aren't there? Very unprofessional.

From my initial phone request for a quote, to moving our household goods, DMS was by far the best moving company out. In the end, they far exceeded our expectations.From the initial home visit, Richard Muckle gave us a not-to-exceed quote, which was better than all the others who by the way, never bothered to send an agent to physically come out and assess our stuff. Turns out, they are sutting in a call center somewhere in Florida.On the other hand, Richard walked through my home and inventoried my stuff. He walked me through the whole process and answered all my questions.Upon confirmation, DMS was able to meet my timing requirements and on pick up day, Tony our driver arrived in a semi, along with 3 other movers. They were quick, efficient and very careful with our belongings and the house.Once on the truck, Chelsea, our main DMS contact, gave us regular updates on the status of the truck and delivery date. The day prior to delivery, we received a 2-hour window and on the day of, Tony, the driver, called to let us know he was an hour away.DMS provides multiple payment options of which, I paid online via credit card. It was easy,,, convenient and there was NO credit card fee.I would definitely recommend DMS, if nothing else, for their professionalism, expertise, convenience, trustworthiness and price.

If I could give these movers ten stars, I would. We had a totally positive experience from beginning to end. Would not hesitate to recommend them. Chelsea kept us updated and informed so we knew what to expect. The driver Luke and his crews both in Michigan and Ontario were professional, quick and extremely pleasant to work with. They reassembled all beds,and furniture that had been taken apart and took great care with all our belongings.

Really there are many kind things I could say about this company, way to many to mention. DMS made our move (after 39years) a freaking breeze, everyone from MJ, Chelsea Bean and all the crew were just wonderful, extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make this move go seamless !!!!!If your looking for a moving company I strongly suggest you contact DMS. They are amazing!!! From Brian on initial contact to Chelsea on coordinating all the details to Ben and his crew who did all the heavy lifting, I could not have asked for anything better. Brian and Chelsea kept in contact with me every step of the way, prompt responses to emails and phone calls and answered all my questions and concerns. Ben and his crew showed up right on time and were very professional. Not one single thing broke, even the stuff we packed:)! If you are looking for movers,look no further, I highly recommend them.
