All they need is a “Whites Only” sign. The customer service was very dismissive. If you are a person of color know that the environment does not foster inclusivity. They collected my name and number and said they would “contact me”. I was never contacted nor did we make it to the stage for me to receive an order number. Conclusively, bad experience.

I had taken my vehicle there after a crash for repairs. The staff person I dealt with for the estimate/inspection (Traci) was knowledgeable, explained everything in detail, pointed out some damage to my tire and rim that I had not noticed and could have been deadly had I kept driving on it. They were attention detailed, finished over a week early, and (bonus points for this) cleaned the inside of my car. My car looks brand new.

Tracy has been a delight. The other gentleman at the front office has been very pleasant as well. Everyone was friendly each time I called from the time I left. The work on my vehicle looks like nothing ever happened! And I appreciate the vacuum and clean they did in the front half of my car ❤️ I’m very much happy ! Thank you!

My car was towed to Gerber Collision Canton after a minor accident in late December 2024. While I understand repairs take time, the delays here were absolutely ridiculous. It took over THREE WEEKS just to start the repairs! I called repeatedly, only to get excuses about busy staff and so on. Even after parts arrived, the delays continued. Other shops quoted a 1-week turnaround for the same issue.
My rental car coverage expired, leaving me carless for over a week. It's not the repair time itself, it's the complete lack of communication and the incredibly slow start that's unacceptable. Don't waste your time or risk being stranded like I was. Find a different shop! One star - Zero star if I could.

Zero stars if I could - Communication is Everything.
Unfortunately, my dealership referred me to Gerber Collision & Glass in Canton, MI. I visited their location on Wednesday, December 18th, to get an estimate for repairing my car. I was assured that someone would contact me later that same day with an accurate estimate.
However, a few days later, I contacted Gerber for an update. I was told they had been swamped and several employees were out of the office.
Feeling disappointed with the referral from my dealership, I spoke with the dealership to express my concerns. The Service Manager suggested another location in Dearborn, MI. I found this company to be much more professional and attentive. They provided excellent customer service, and my car was completed satisfactorily within a week.
My review stems from the lack of communication I experienced with Gerber. As of today (01.14.25), they have never contacted me. Unbelievable.

They managed to bend the door back into shape pretty quickly after a locksmith bent the frame to open it.

Scam service, we have talked to Steve and made an appointment for windshield replacement for FRHT Cascadia, however, when we arrived to shop, they said there is no Steve, they can't even get it replaced today

I am an ASE certified technician, so you know i know what im talking about. Do not send your car here! The estimater totalled my truck without looking at it or putting it on a frame jig. He pointed at a piece of plastic and said it was metal. They used to be a good place to take your car but since they changed managers it has been a joke.

I've used this place in the past and had great service... However... This time I was told about a labor shortage and agreed to the longer wait because I like to support local business. Accident happened in the first week of Jan and my appointment was Feb 8th. Also notice the date of this posting. I had not received a call until I called several times and got my insurance involved on the 12th. Was told at that time no one looked at my car. That someone would be later that day and I'd have answers. Again 3 days, on the 15th I had to call and find Mike just to give me updates. The frame was bent. It then took until the 19th for paperwork to be completed. Yup just paperwork.Communication is key.I support local businesses in times of labor shortages for sure. They don't deserve to suffer. But this is ridiculous and there was no communication at all.
